Squirtle

The gang were walking a path, when suddenly they fell into a hole

"Who put this hole here!?" Serena exclaimed

"Ow! I landed on my head!" Brock exclaimed in pain

When they got out of the hole, they saw five light blue turtle Pokémon laughing at them. four of them had round sunglasses & the leader had pointy sunglasses.

"Those are Squirtle" Ash said as he pulled out his Rotom Phone

Squirtle, the Tiny Turtle Pokémon, a Water type, With its aerodynamic shape & grooved surface, Squirtle's shell helps it cut through the water very quickly. It also offers protection in battle.

"First Bulbasaur, then Charmander, now Squirtle." Serena said in surprise

"Awesome, once I catch Squirtle, I'll have a complete set." Ash said

Suddenly the Squirtle heard a siren & fled. Then Officer Jenny showed up & took the gang to the station

"Those Squirtle are known as the Squirtle Squad. They're all Squirtle who were deserted by their trainers. They play tricks on the whole town. It's really sad because if they'd had somebody to care about them, they wouldn't have turned out to be as bad as they are." Jenny said "As a matter of fact, I'm planning on catching three of them, but I don't know about the other two."

"I can catch the leader of the Squirtle Squad" Ash volunteered

"Ok, but what about the last one?" Jenny asked

"I'll catch it" Brock volunteered

"Are you sure about that, Brock" Serena asked

"Sure, I don't mind catching one since my mom owns a Blastoise" Brock said

Then Jenny got a call saying that there was a forest fire. When she & the gang went to the fire

"What Happened?" Jenny asked

"When we were battling each other, I had my Charmeleon use Flamethrower & the move hit one of the trees. We tried blowing the fire away with Gust & Whirlwind, but all it did was spread." A Trainer explained

"Squirtle!" A few voices cried out

"That sounds like the Squirtle Squad, they might be in trouble." Ash said

"I'll get them" Jenny said

"But Jenny, it's too dangerous" Jenny's partner said

"Someone's gotta help them" Jenny said

"Brock & I will help you, Jenny" Ash said

"Alright, but you have to stay by me." Jenny said

"Ash, Brock, Please be careful" She pleaded with worry

"Don't worry, Serena." Brock assured

Ash, Brock, & Jenny went into the forest & saw the Squirtle Squad on a cliff

"Squirtle, you're gonna have to jump. We'll catch you" Jenny called out as she, Ash, & Brock held out their arms

"Squirtle" The Squirtle Squad trembled in fear

"It's okay, we're not gonna let anything happen to you. We'll keep you safe." Jenny assured them

Four of the Squirtle Squad jumped off the cliff, Jenny caught the first & second Squirtle in her arms & Brock caught the third & fourth Squirtle in his arms. The leader Squirtle stayed on the cliff feeling unsure.

"Squirtle jump, I'll catch you." Ash called out

Squirtle just stared at him

"Come on, you have to jump" Ash said

Squirtle still stared at him

"Please...I'll help you." Ash pleaded

A few seconds later, Squirtle jumped off the cliff & Ash caught it in his arms

"Great job, Squirtle." Ash praised

"Squirtle" Squirtle said happily

"If this forest keeps burning, the whole town's gonna go up in smoke." Jenny said

"I got an idea." Ash said as he turned to the Squirtle Squad "Squirtle, if we work together, we can put out this fire in no time"

The Squirtle Squad used Water Gun to put out the fire, Ash & Brock had Sandshrew, Staryu, Pidgeotto, & Geodude use Sand Attack & Water Gun to put out the fire. After they put out the fire.

"Alright you two, next time battle in a more clear area. Understand?" Jenny said to the two trainers as they nodded & left

Jenny turned to the Squirtle Squad

"As for you, I'm very happy that you're all safe. When I heard you calling out for help, I was very worried. I thought you might've gotten hurt, but I'm glad you're all unharmed. How would you like to become my Pokémon?" Jenny asked "I know your trainers abandoned you, but I promise I'll take good care of you. & for your bravery & skill, I will proudly appoint you the town firefighters. So what do you say?"

Three of the Squirtle Squad hugged Jenny & cried tears of Joy while the fourth & leader Squirtle just stared

"Hey Squirtle" Ash said, gaining the fourth & leader Squirtle's attention "How would you like to come with us?"

"We know that you were abandoned by your so called trainers, but not all of us are like that. So, how about you give Ash & I a chance?" Brock asked

The fourth & leader Squirtle stared at them for a few seconds, smiled, & nodded

"Go Pokéball!" Ash & Brock said as they each threw a Poké Ball at the fourth & leader Squirtle & caught them

"Awesome" Ash smiled

Now that Ash has a Bulbasaur, a Charmander, & a Squirtle, the journey continues.
