Cinnabar Island
The gang had gotten back to the Cinnabar Gym from the Pokémon Mansion. When they entered the Gym, it was dark. But then the lights flashed on & the place looked like a game show with an audience cheering & cameras filming. Then a man with a white mustache wearing round sunglasses, a red long sleeve button-up shirt with a white vest over it, light brown khakis, black shoes, & a white fedora with a red ribbon appeared on stage.
"Hello ladies & gentleman, welcome to the Cinnabar Island Gym Pokémon Quiz. I'm your host, Blaine, & here we have a new challenger." The man named Blaine said "Challenger, state your name."
"I'm Ash Ketchum." Ash said
"Alright, Ash Ketchum, you'll be asked five questions. Get one right, & you get a Blaine doll." Blaine said as Ash went on stage. "Now, first question: Which of these Pokémon is called the Spitfire Pokémon? Magmar or Growlithe?"
"I know it's not Growlithe, cause Growlithe is called the Puppy Pokémon" Ash thought before saying "I'm going with Magmar."
"Correct!" Blaine said as the first Blaine doll appeared "Second question: How many Gym Badges does a Trainer have to have to get into the Pokémon League?"
"8" Ash said
"Correct!" Blaine said as the second Blaine doll appeared "Third question: Are Electric Type moves effective against Ground Types? True or False?"
"False." Ash said
"Correct again!" Blaine said as the third Blaine doll appeared "Fourth question: A TM28 contains the move Tombstony. True or False?"
"Uh...False." Ash sweatdropped
"Correct once again!" Blaine said as the fourth Blaine doll appeared "Now, Final question: Who are you about to battle?"
"You?" Ash said
"That's right!" Blaine said as the fifth Blaine doll appeared & a battlefield appeared on stage
Ash & Blaine went into battle position
"The battle between the Cinnabar Gym Leader & Ash of Pallet Town is about to begin. This will be a 4 on 4 battle & it will be over when either side's Pokémon are unable to battle. Only the challenger can substitute Pokémon." Derek announced
"Go Ninetales!" Blaine said as he sent out a golden white fox-like Pokémon with nine tails
"Ninetales." The Pokémon said as Ash pulled out his Rotom Phone
Ninetales, the Fox Pokémon, a Fire Type, & the evolved form of Vulpix. Ninetales is capable of bending fire to its will. It can live for a thousand years & was created when nine saints merged into a single being, according to legend.
"Vaporeon, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out his Vaporeon
"Vaporeon." Vaporeon said
"It's Vaporeon's time to shine." Serena said
"Yeah, Ash already used Jolteon & Flareon at the last Gym & since this is a Fire Type Gym, it's the perfect opportunity for Ash to use Vaporeon." Brock said
"Battle Begin!" Derek said
ASH VS BLAINE
"Vaporeon, use Muddy Water" Ash said.
"Poooooor!" Vaporeon said as she summoned a wave of brown water at Ninetales
"Ninetales, use Dig." Blaine said as Ninetales dug underground to dodge the attack, then came out & tackled Vaporeon
