Chapter 17: Becoming

AFTER A YEAR.
Whew , just a year ago i was a just a 23 year old girl scared of change working in a coffee shop but then , a zulu taxi driver stalked me and made me fall in love with him giving me the courage to break free from my changophobia and live life a little.
But now ,now im a girl who changophobia free , who is still single but is now an accountant , I haven't heard from Stembiso since the flowers and honestly i don't know how to feel about that .I would be lying if i said i do not miss him but i also would be lying if i said if i wanted him to come back.Well the girl is turning 24 years tomorrow,chile have we grown .Khaya and Kgotatso wants us to go Clubbing but im not really feeling it , i would rather sit watch movies and eat the whole day kodwa knowing my two friends , im defenently going clubbing tomorrow by fire by force .Yes Khaya and i have now became good friends , he is a good guy shame yaz, loud yes , crazy absolutely but he is such a sweet soul.
So i am looking at apartments online when Kgotatso gets in all smiles while on the phone.Well she has been seeing this guy for a few weeks now and boy is she inlove ofcause she won't admit it but despite my failed 2 months relationship , i know love when i see it .
" whuuu look at you being all smiley smiley" she laughs
" hai wena ,you know Dave is such a sweet heart ,he called just because i have been online and when i told him i do not have data he literally sent airtime ya'R100 " she says with a wide smile on her face ,my friend is in love and i am loving it . I smile back at her .
"What, why are you looking at me like that"
" no marhn who would've thought that us , the girls working at the coffee shop would have grown this much ,one now is an accountant , while one is unemployed but inlove..."
"Hai wena skang phaphela ,im not unemployed and im most def not inlove , keep looking for apartments and stop blubbing nonsense" she says taking her bottel of wine and glass , leaving the kitchen.Kgotatso decided to leave Lekker Coffee shop and look for another better job and well 2 months later and she is still looking  but she is relaxing cause Dave , her new boo thang gives her girlfriend allowance so she is sorted shame .We are currently looking for apartments bigger than the flat we live in , if i knew apartment searching was this stressful and hectic whuu trust me , i would have gave the job to Khaya.
