Kara pov ***
I and Ad practically ran out of the company, went to the car, got to the mall, and changed, told Ad bye, and started driving toward home, I mean house.
I reached there 5 minutes before the given time, but I got this weird feeling, I can't explain it. It's like I am scared of them but not exactly. I mean I can take all of them down but it's not scared, scared. It's like a fear, a nervousness about how they will react I guess. Ah, I DONT KNOW. I TOLD YOU I CAN'T EXPLAIN IT. I get out of the car. Finally.

I start walking towards the door, my palms are sweating. I was about to knock when a angry Luca opens the door.

"Hey," I said giving him a sheepish smile and waving my hand at him
" oh her grace Victoria finally decided to show up? " he asked sarcastically
"ahh, yea, and who is Victoria? " I asked him with a smirk this time
" KARA" Elijah shouted from God knows where
" yes, yes Elijah my ears are clean I can hear you. You don't have to shout " I yelled back. It wasn't like yelled, yelled more like talked in a higher tone? Yeah, that sounds right.
" Can I come in now? " I asked with a small smile to melt him
" oh, yes come in," Aiden said from behind, I bend sidewards to see him
" thank you," I said coming in, ignoring the angry looks by him. See here's a thing when a calm person like Aiden is angry the only logical reason to do is RUN. KARA RUN.
I don't know when I started running. Suddenly I bumped into a wall, Elijah.

" care to explain missy," He asked
" no actually bye bye " I tried to go to my room. Keyword being tried. Elijah held my wrist. I was going to argue when papa said " Kara this is not done " shit he didn't use nickname. " Papa but I told you I was going out and promised to come back before dinner, and see I am here, " I said in the sweetest voice ever without realizing it
"she is right plus if any one of us does the same thing as kara no one would question it. Since when are we so old-fashioned" kay (Kayden) asked as he tossed another popcorn in his mouth. Thanks, twinny I owe you one. He nodded at me as if he read my mind
" wait, why are you having popcorn we are about to have dinner," Angelo said. " this much drama without popcorn is no fun " kayden motherfucker told with a dramatic expression, I narrowed my eyes at him, and he just shrugged asshole
" Angelo shut up and kayden stop eating that, " Aiden said in bitch I am the fucking mother of this house you listen to me tone

" that doesn't excuse you from not picking up our calls you know how worried we were " Elijah said bringing back his attention to me

"I am sorry, I don't have any of your numbers, you didn't think I was family enough to share your numbers with me," I said in a sad tone as I looked down tears form in my eyes  "I am sorry, I won't go out again" I continued  " that not true sorellina " ( baby sister ) Elijah started as he held my chin with his two fingers and made me look at him as he shock his head side ways telling me not to cry  " we all love you very much, you are our family okay" he continued as I nodded " and about you going out we are fine with it, it's just that you where not with us, it's scary. We don't want to lose you again," he said and hugged me, I hugged him back and soon everyone else joined us. " we are sorry," they said together " it's okay " I mumbled " okay so that it's over, kara we will put our numbers in your phone after dinner, dinner is in ten you meet you there I will go heat up the dinner, " Aiden said clapping his hand as soon as we separated from the group hug. I nodded and went to my room.

As soon as the door closed I wiped my fake tears yes fake. If you really believed that I, Kara aka Luna would cry I don't think I have seen someone more foolish than you. But I do feel bad, but it's good they must feel guilty if they don't then the chances of me going out of this house is equal to zero. And I did have their number but they don't have to know that .

I go into my washroom and wash my hand and face. Wear something comfy and go take Verity from my bookshelf

I wear my reading glasses and walk down while reading my book, I am currently reading the part where Lowen and Jeremy are having .....you know and verity is standing on top of the stair just staring at them. Gives me shivers. I reach the dining hall I guess because I can hear my brothers bickering. " Give me 5 Kara, I will be there," Aiden said "sure" I replied still not looking at them " kara," someone says. "Hmm" I responded " kara " I hear the same voice but this time I ignored it " KARA " the voice ' Elijah ' shouted "yes," I said looking at him as I closed my book " what happened?" I asked as I took my seat " what's so interesting that you didn't hear us calling you " Luca asked " no shut up don't I am reading it, don't spoil it for me " Lucas said " oh shut up Kara tell what is it about" luca said " which part are you in? " I asked Lucas completely ignoring luca " the part where chastin dies and verity blames it all on harper that bi---" Lucas starts but when he notices everyone's attention is on us he changes it to " biscuit yeah that biscuit " he continued, nice save Lucas nice save " you guys are confusing, just tell us the plot," kay said "okay, so keeping my fellow reader in mind all I can tell you is the female lead that is Lowen is a broke author, and then we have Jeremy and Verity. Verity is an author of this very famous book, but she was in an accident and now brain dead, so her husband Jeremy and her company which publishes her books have to find a author to take her place and finish it. But since verity can't talk. Lowen has to go to their house and go through verity stuff to see if verity has left any clues on how to end the series. But she find the house very creepy. Maybe it was because verity's 2 daughters had died in just the span of 6 months both accidents. But when she is going through verity's office she finds verity's auto biography with disturbing fact what makes it worse is she falls in love with Jeremy and you know what happened to the girls--- " I told them half of the story now time to tease them, I wanted make it suspens and I did it everyone leaned towards me and Aiden was standing with hot tray of Melanzane Alla Parmigiana ( Italian dish ) in his hands " looks like you will never know " I said sitting relaxed on my chair, some on them growled some of them said whatt but non argued, because they know I will not open my mouth for that topic again. " by the way, who called me and why " I asked " I did, you look pretty, who selected this beautiful dress for you " Luca asked with a smirk " oh, no, not really I don't like this dress some idiot must have put it in the basket it was a waste of Elijah's money so I thought to wear it once before using it to clean my table and stuff you know " I said know with a smirk on my face. The smirk on Luca's face dropped. And Lucas and kayden started laughing while others looked at us not knowing what had happened. Luca had got me this it's so comfortable I never want to remove it but Luca doesn't need to know that. " you little ---" he said and started to run towards me, I got up from my place and ran in another direction. After like 2 minutes in the run I noticed everyone had a smile on their faces even Eli ( Elijah) after a few more seconds papa scolded us, more like Luca and asked me to sit with the sweetest tone. The table went silent all of us except papa looked at each other while papa kept a straight face. We all started laughing and papa just shook his head in disapproval but I saw a small smile on his face. After dinner, Aiden gave me a paper with everyone's number on it. Every one of them kissed me on my forehead and wish me good night I went to my study room and started reading business-related stuff because I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep,

I woke up to my throat being thirsty, I slept while checking some papers. I checked my bottle it was empty, I went down while rubbing my eyes, I felt someone is their in the kitchen, I went close to see two shadows leaning on the kitchen slab and talking to each other. I kept the bottle in the defense position and walked in slowly. I was going to tap  one of the guys shoulders when he turned back

"aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh" he shouted
"aaahhhhhhhh" I shouted and punched his nose in panic not knowing what to do
" ouchhh" he shouted again,  he fell on the ground I held my bottle in defense position again but the other guy raised his hand up in the air " its you " he said his eyes softened he started coming near me " stay way " I shouted at him, he stopped immediately " kara it's me, you favorite don't you remember," he said with tears in his eyes ready to fall any moment " wait you know me? " I asked confused " of course we do idiot we know you since the day you were born, " the guy on the ground said holding his bleeding nose, " huh? " I asked confused just then lights were turned on ......

Hey guys so sorry for the long wait, we reached 20k can't thank u guys enough. As I told before I have my boards coming up and my school keeps give me work so I have very less time I hope u understand. I know I wrote a lot about verity but I AM OBSESSED. Let's not give any more spoilers to people who r yet to read but if have texted me I have so many theories... 🤫🤫

And to my lovely friends who practically texted me the entire plot without even realizing it, they r not her cousins that is all I can tell u ...
