As Crowley left the bookshop, Muriel picked up a small notebook and started to read through it.
As they were reading through the pages, they found a page which read, "Things haven't been well as of late. Armageddon is getting closer and closer. I would usually be in full support of what plans Heaven was planning, of course, but there's something... or should I say... 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦, who I'm terribly frightened of losing. I shouldn't be as worried as I am about losing him, because he is still a demon, even if he is my Heaven on Earth."
Muriel processed what they had just read, and realized what Aziraphale had meant.
Aziraphale was writing about Crowley.
Muriel closed the notebook slowly and put it back on Aziraphale's desk. Muriel was a bit naïve about Earthly things, but they knew that what they had read in Aziraphale's diary was about Crowley.
