Third Person P.O.V

The destroyed Viking ships return, everyone mostly unharmed. They row to the docks, everyone's mood slightly sour at the unfruitful quest.

Stoick heavily sighs, grabbing the hand of the Viking helping him up. He pats his shoulder in thanks, sighing once more.

Samuel and Hanna follow after, eager to see Astrid and (Y/N) once more, since they left (Y/N) on a bad note.

"I trust you found the nest, at least?" Gobber questions, looking at the scorched ships.

"Not even close." Stoick growls back, stomping past him.

"Ah. Excellent," Gobber sarcastically mumbles, nodding to Astrid's parents.

"I hope you had more success than me," Stoick continues, walking along the dock.

"Well... If by success, you mean that your-- all of your parenting troubles are over," Gobber starts, making Samuel and Hanna look at him in question, "then... Yes."

"Congratulations, you lot!" A woman shouts, hugging Hanna with a grin. "Everyone is so relieved!"

"Out with the old and in with the new, right?" A man smiles, happily following the woman.

"No one will miss those old nuisances!"

"We're throwing a party to celebrate!"

Stoick lightly gasps, looking at Gobber as Samuel and Hanna look at each other.

"(Y/N)? Is she alright?!" Hanna quickly questions, startling Gobber.

"I told Astrid to keep an eye on her," Samuel growls, shaking his head with a heavy sigh as he rubs his forehead.

"They're gone?" Stoick questions, Gobber shrugging lightly.

"Em, yeah," he nods, walking along as the three parents follow. "Most afternoons. But, who can blame them? They hardly get any alone time anymore. They can barely walk through the village without being swarmed by their new fans."

"Hiccup and (Y/N)?" Stoick repeats, his voice full of disbelief.

"I knew she could do it," Hanna sighs in relief, smiling.

"But... Really? (Y/N)? Not Astrid?" Samuel questions, his tone confused before he shakes his head with another sigh.

"Who would have thought, eh?" Gobber grins, looking off. "They have this... Way with the beasts."

...

Hiccup takes in a deep breath, smiling over at (Y/N) as (D/N) flies besides him and Toothless, putting him a little more at ease as they soar through the sky.

"Okay there, (Y/N)?" He calls, making her nod as she nervously looks down.

"Yep! Just... Still getting used to how high up we are. I'll be fine, though!" (Y/N) smiles, making him nod.

"Okay, bud," he gets Toothless' attention, "we're gonna take this nice and slow."

"We'll be alright, right (D/N)?" (Y/N) smiles, rubbing his neck as he purrs lightly.

"Here we go, here we go," Hiccup mumbles, looking over his cheat-sheet. "Position... Three. No, four!"

He looks back, shifting his foot and adjusting the tail-fin. Toothless rolls his shoulder, snorting softly as he begins to glide, his body tipped to the side.

(D/N) copies him, flying slightly above the two.

"Your safety rope holding up?" Hiccup shouts over the wind, testing his own.
