"Thank you London" I smile "Anytime" she smiles "Alright we must get going" she tells me as we walk out
"Are we allies?" Flynn suddenly asks me as we walk to training "Yeah of course. That's the whole reason I volunteer remember" I tell him "Ok just making sure" he says letting out a shaky breath "Hey it's going to be ok. We are going to make it out" I tell him "Yeah" he nods
"Alright you two listen up. There's going to be places to learn about berries, food, water and whatnot so you can survive. Then there are places you can train, any weapon you can think of will be there. Try all of them, find your strength, but also don't show off your strength. You don't want to other tributes to know what you are good at..... But also don't look weak. Try everything" Roman tells us both "Oh and don't stick together, you don't want them knowing your allies just yet" he winks at us then walks off "Good luck" I tell Flynn "You too" he smiles
I go to the weapons first, so I can wake up a little before learning anything. I go to the knife's first I grab 5 knife's in my hand before taking a breath and throwing them one by one. Each of them hitting the middle perfectly. Still comes natural. "On to the next" I mumble
Next I went to grab a bow and arrow. The targets set up as I take a breath. I pull back my bow shooting the targets as they pop up. Hitting each of them directly on the head. I smile to myself as I successfully hit each one. "Bow and arrows is definitely my favorite." I chuckle a bit as I put down the bow
I do the same thing over and over again. Sword fighting, took the man down in 1 minute Axe throwing, hit each target Spear, direct hit
I put down the trident after finishing yet another successful run. "Alright time to learn" I chuckle to myself I start to walk over but that's when I finally see Camilla. I try to keep myself from running over and hugging her. I look to see if anyone was looking and mouth to her "Allies?" I ask her and she quickly nods yes "We're going to make it out" I mouth to her one last time before walking off
I go to each station watching the videos already knowing the information it was telling me. But I wanted to make sure I knew whatever was going to be thrown at me in the games.
With about 5 minutes left of training I decided to go watch some people train.
I see someone from district 2 throw knife's hitting each target. Then once she's done she walks over to me "You know you have spirit I'll give you that, but you're also going to be my first kill" she smiles at me, she was about 17 so I don't know why she's looking down at a 13 year old saying I'm her first kill but you do you I guess "Ok I can't wait, well technically I can't wait to see you try but same difference" I smile at her "What-" she starts to say "Shhh shhh child I'm too tired for you to lecture me. Bye bye now" I smile before walking off leaving her confused
"All tributes return to your mentors" someone over the microphone says. One by one we made are way back to are rooms
"Tomorrow is a very important day, not only is it the last day before your games but you get to show off your skills in front of the game makers. They will rate you on scale of 1-12. The better rate you get the more sponsors. Got it?" He tells us "Yeah" we both nod "Alright. Get a good nights rest you'll both do great tomorrow" he says before walking off
"Is it just me or is he kinda getting nicer to us" I ask London and Flynn. "Oh he definitely is" Flynn agrees "Alright off to bed you two" London laughs
We reach our doors but right before we walk in I speak up "Wait Flynn" I say and he turns to look at me "Yeah?" He asks me "Umm I just wanted to say, you can do it. And uh- thank you for always being there for me" I smile "Like wise" he smiles at me I give him a small nod before walking into my room
