I walk in front with Boggs and Kattnis as I hear Finnick yell Peeta and Flynn their lines. "Boggs. This is a good spot. Through there in the court yard" Cressida tells him "Ok let us clear it" he tells her
We walk closer and closer and the holo starts beeping. "We got a pod. Split take cover" he tells us
I run to one side with Kattnis as I watch Flynn go to the other. "Stay back" Boggs tells us then he throws a rock Guns immediately went off shooting like crazy. I leave my eyes closed until the noise finally stops
Boggs stands up to check the pod "All clear" he tells us "Gale homes me, leegs take the wings." He tells them I stand up with Kattnis as we both stare at Peeta and Flynn. Flynn has his eyes closed shut head against the wall. "My name is Flynn Dawson and my home is district 12" I can hear him mumbling over and over again My heart was breaking until I heard a bomb go off that snaps me out of my thoughts. I look around the corner and hear Boggs yell "Boggs!" I scream and sprint towards him with Kattnis by my side "Everdeen Lily no!" Jackson yells after us "Boggs!" We both yell again
When we get there we see both his legs were gone. Gale and homes quickly try to stop the bleeding as Kattnis and I try to comfort him "It's ok it's ok" I tell him "The holo the holo" Boggs breaths out Kattnis grabs it and puts it on his chest "Unfit for command. Transfer primary security clearance. Say your names" he tells us "Kattnis Everdeen" Kattnis says then he lifts it towards me "Evelyn Lily" I say still not understanding what was happening "What did you just do?" I ask him "Kattnis, Evelyn don't trust them. Kill Peeta and Flynn if you have to. Do what you came to do." He tells us as he head starts to go down "Boggs?" Kattnis says I help lay his head down knowing there was nothing else we could do "Thank you." I whisper to him before he takes his last breath
I hear one of the leegs sister groaning in pain, I turn to see the other one run towards her only to step on a tile that slowly moves down. Another pod. The doors around us closed shut and this black goo immediately pours out "Go! Go! Go!" I yell as we all take off running "Let's go soldiers!" Jackson yells
I keep running until I'm pulled backwards falling on my back. I look up to see Flynn, only it wasn't Flynn. His eyes went dark again, he was triggered. He tries to hit me with his gun but I roll out of the way. A man comes and tackles him before he could hurt me, but Flynn shoves him into the goo. I try to run after him but someone grabs my arm "Come on come on we gotta move!" Gale yells "Get inside!" Jackson yells as homes shoots the glass "Everybody go get inside! Upstairs!" He yells as we run in
We quickly run up the stairs as the goo makes its way up "Keep moving!" Jackson yells at us But the stairs were broken this was as high as we could get. "Hey hey I got you" I hear Finnick say and that's when I realized Finnick was holding Flynn down while someone else was holding Peeta down. They shoot some kind of shot into them and they quickly calm down. I watch as the goo starts to get higher until it starts to slow down "It's slowing down" Cressida tells us We watch as it gets on the top of the stairs then starts moving back down. Leaving a layer of black on everything.
"451 to base over" lieutenant jackson says as I look at Peeta and Flynn who were knocked out because of the shot "Hey we better move" Gale says "if peacekeepers didn't know where we were they do now. Those surveillance cameras caught us" homes says "451 to base come in" jackson says I look down at the holo in my hand then look at Kattnis who was already looking at me.
"This is a bad spot we need to move now" Gale tells her "451 to base over" she says ignoring everyone I watch as the goo slowly goes down out the window "I can't get a signal. But I can get us back to base. Evelyn give me the holo." She tells me but I just look at her "Evelyn what did I just say the holo. Come on let's go" she tells me as she puts the radio in her pocket "Boggs gave it to us" I tell her "What are you talking about?" She asks "He did. He transferred security clearance to them. I saw him" homes tells her "And why would he do that?" She asks us "We're on special orders from coin" I answer "To do what?" She asks "To assassinate president Snow" Kattnis answers "I don't believe that for one second. As your new unit commander, I order you to transfer security clearance to me now." She tells us "No" I answer shortly "We can't do that" Kattnis tells her She raises her gun at us and Gale points his at her "Let's not lose are heads here" he says as one of the leegs sisters points her gun at us and Finnick raises his
"I'm not asking you again. Give me that holo." She tells us but Cressida steps in front of us "Their telling the truth. Plutarch wants it televised. He thinks if we could film the mockingjays assassinating snow it could make the Capitol surrender before the casualties get too high." Cressida tells her "While we're arguing, there's peacekeepers on there way here" gale tells her Kattnis lowers gales gun before speaking up "Boggs promised us that when the time came you would help us." She tells her She takes a breath then lowers her gun "Alright soldiers. Holos yours" she tells us and we both just nod back
"I don't think we're going to leave any footprints we should leave now. Most cameras outside should be covered up by the oil" Gale says "She can't move forward like this, her legs to bad" homes tell everyone "We have to evacuate her. I'm sorry" he adds "I'll stay with her" her sister says "As soon as we make contact we will send somebody back I promise you." Jackson tells her "Alright everybody move out" she tells us "Get them up" Gale says as Finnick and homes help Flynn and Peeta up
