Moment later, his older sister knocked and entered his room.
"We have family gathering this upcoming Wednesday, Kio. Try to attend at least once." she said calmly while looking at us.
Aki didn't respond, he just smiled. Ni tango or shrug ay wala.
"You need something ba?" she asked.
"Just need to get out of here."
His sister sighed and scratched her head, "Introduce your friend to Dad first bago kayo umalis."
At doon na lumabas ng room ang Ate niya.
"Do you want eat something after this?" pagbago ko na sa usapan.
He seemed uncomfortable sa mismong bahay niya na never ko naramdaman sa bahay namin.
Sa bahay nga ako mas totoo e.
He nodded, "Are you hungry?"
I shook my head, "I'm not. You just seemed off today?"
May family gathering sila sa araw nang libre siya, sa day na kung saan niya hiningi ang araw ko.
"Ah I'm okay, don't worry. I'm not just close to them, so its kinda uncomfy to my end." he uttered like its common to have this kind of family, na walang maayos na communication and such? "This is the reason why I'm working so freaking hard Ivo, to get out of their clan."
Lalo akong naguluhan kung bakit pero ayoko naman batuhin siya ng maraming tanong kaya hinayaan ko siyang magsalita without me questioning every statement he was uttering.
I just nodded.
"He just let me have my freedom to chose my course and to separate with them but I'm the one who pays my bills, my basic needs, and all. I'm also saving some of my salary 'coz I know darating ang oras na mapapalayas niya ko." patuloy niya, pertaining to his Dad.
Bakit wala siyang allowance? Hindi siya sinusuportahan? Ano 'tong sinasabi niya sakin ngayon?
Is he neglected child or what?
Hindi naman yan gagawin ng isang magulang kung wala siyang sinuway sa sinabi sa kaniya, ayun ang kuryosong-kuryoso ko na malaman.

He bitterly smiled, "Yes, pasaway kasi akong Unico Hijo niya e."
I was bombarded to all of his family information he told to me na parang last time lang, I was complaining to myself na wala pa kong alam about his family kasi ganito pala ka-complicated ang pamilyang meron siya.
