Chapter 5:The deal and the enchanted forest

Na gising ako dahil may narinig akong nag uusap sa tabi ko.

"Is she alright doc?" May nag tanong. "She's fine, dahil lang sa takot kaya siya nahimatay" sagot nung kausap ng may ari ng boses.

I heard footsteps walking away from me. I mean us. It was time to wake up.

I slowly opened my eyes. I squinted because of the bright light. When my sight adjusted I looked around. Hindi ako nasa room namin. I'm in a room with white walls.

" Your finally awake." A voice spoke. I looked at the direction where the voice came from and saw Eve. "I hope it's alright with you, but I have to go to class, ayos lang ba sayo kung iwan muna kita dito?" Tanong niya. Tumango ako. "I'm fine, go ahead." She smiled and left the room.

Teka. Nasaan nga ba ako? I looked around once more. May pumasok sa room na babae. She was wearing a nurse outfit. She smiled at me. "Gising ka na pala." She went over to me. "Pwede ka nang ma discharge, kailangan ka lang namin I-check up." Tumango ako. "Nasan po ba ako?" Tanong ko. Kumunot ang noo niya. "Nasa clinic ka ng Academy" sagot niya. Tumango ako. Sabi niya aasikasuhin pa niya ang ibang sugatan kanina sa training and left the room.

I sat up. Nahimatay pala ako dahil sa takot. Nakakahiya naman, yung iba nasugatan dahil sa laban, ako ang rason kung bakit ako nandito dahil nahimatay ako.

I flinched as I heard a knocking in the window of the room. Tumayo ako at pumunta sa bintana. Wala namang tao. Binuksan ko ang bintana at sumilip sa labas. "Aaaah!" Napasigaw ako dahil sumulpot si Ash sa labas ng bintana. He was hanging upside down. "What the Hell are doing here?!" I exclaimed. I almost had an heart attack. He pushed me causing me to fall on my back. Pumasok siya sa loob ng room. "Fuck. What was that for?!" Kainis. Ano ba ang ginawa ko at tinulak niya ako. Agad akong tumayo.

Umupo siya sa harap ko. He glared daggers at me. "Tss. Wala ka palang magic" he said. "Oh, ba't mo naman nasabi yun? Ah-I mean, why do you care?" Shemay! Bakit ako nag stutter. He smirked. "Alam mo ba, galit parin ako sayo." Kumunot ang noo ko. "Ano ba ang ginawa ko at galit ka sa akin?" Tanong ko.

Tumayo siya at lumapit siya sa akin. Umatras ako. Every time he comes close to I step back. I felt the cold wall on my back. Shit! I'm trapped. "Alam mo kung bakit ako galit sayo" he coldly said. My eyebrows furrowed. Hindi masyado nag process ang sinabi niya sa akin. I looked at him, just not in the eye. Hindi kaya yung..."yun ba yung nahuli ka?" Tanong ko. "Yep. Nahuli ako ng dahil sayo. I had to clean the whole library, then the whole hallway and after that I had to spend my three hours in the detention room" sabi niya. Seriously?! Dahil lang dun galit na siya? Gago pala tong lalakeng to. Yun lang Grabe na siya magalit.

"Seryoso ka? Dahil lang don? Ang oa mo naman." He smirked. "Oo seryoso ako. Ayoko na may pumipigil sa gusto ko. At pinigilan mo yun. And because you're powerless, I can just roast you right now."

I glared daggers at him. "You're bluffing" I said. He evilly smirked. "Am I?" He replied. My eyes widened. Fuck. "You're wrong. I am not powerless" sagot ko. He grinned. "Really? Prove it." What the did I just say? I felt like I want a hole to appear beneath me and swallow me. "I...umm...I m-mean" I kept stuttering. His grin grew wider. "How about we make a deal?" Sabi niya. My brow arched. "it depends. What's the deal?" Tanong ko. "Meet me in the enchanted forest at the back of the academy. May ipapagawa ako sayo, if you succeed maybe I won't roast you. But if you lose and you get us caught, you'll be in grave trouble" sabi niya. Kumunot ang noo ko. "Ano ang ipapagawa mo sa akin?" Tanong ko. "Just meet me there, if you agree to the deal. If don't, then it's my pleasure to roast you right now" sagot niya. Anong klaseng deal yun? Kapag hindi susunugin niya ako? Paano ba naman na hindi pumayag ang tao sa gusto niya. Bwisit na lalake.
