Chapter 22:The Deal with Darkness

A/N: I am so trying hard to make this story longer! Hard Work! Phew...

ACE POV

Pumasok ako sa loob ng kwarto at nakita na wala parin sina Eve. Probably still in class. Wala naman gaano ka importanteng subjects at wala rin naman kaming activities kaya ayos lang kung nag skip ako.

I laid down my bed and closed my eyes. Its been a tiring day, a sleep wouldn't be bad after a good hard work.

"Ace...lets go home..."

I looked around confusedly. That voice...it sounds awfully familiar. It sounded sweet and calming.

"Ace, apo...."

My eyes widened. I would most likely look like my eyes would come off of its socket the moment I heard the voice call again.

"Grandma?..." Linibot ko ang tingin ko sa madilim na paligid. The room was dark. No walls, no doors. Only darkness. I'm in a wide dark room with my grandma.

"Ace...apo..."

Linibot ko muli ang tingin ko. "Grandma?! Ikaw ba yan?!" I called out. Being stuck in here made me confused as hell.

"Grandma?!"

"Ace, help me! Apo! Help!"

Fear washed over my system nang humingi ng tulong si Grandma. I started panicking. I started to run around the dark room trying to find my grandmother.

"Grandma, where are you?!"

"Here apo! I'm here!"

Sinundan ko ang boses at nakita ko si Grandma. I covered my mouth to prevent myself from screaming at the sight.

Si Grandma, puno siya ng sugat, both old and new cuts and bruises surrounded her body. The sleeves of her night gown was torn apart at may kadena sa leeg, kamay at paa niya. Fresh blood was dripping down from it. The blood of my Grandma.

Hinang-hina na siya. The chain in her neck makes it harder for her to breath. It was choking her. It looked like she's been tortured in such a long time.

A hot breath suddenly touched the back of my neck sending shivers down my spines. Someone's behind me. Very close to my back.

"Like the sight miss Smith?" Tanong nito. From its voice it was clear that it was a male. I tried to turn around and face him. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang naramdaman ko ang biglang hindi ko pag galaw. I fell down the floor.

"What the hell did you do to me?!" Galit na tanong ko. I'm completely unmoving in the spot. I feel numb. Every part of my body feels numb.

Tumawa ang lalake sa likod ko. "Chill miss Smith, gusto lang naman namin makita mo ang grandma mo, konting awa lang naman, from us to you."

"Anong ibig niyong sabihin?!" Mas lumakas ang tawa niya. His laughter filled the dark room. "Miss Smith, can't you see? Your Grandma is dying..." He said with fake sadness.
