Chapter 11:dicovering something in family day and an attack

Time went by fast and it was already family day. I decided to stay in our room since wala namang aatend sa akin. I sent my letter to auntie, but never got a reply. Obviously, she's angry to me. I mean, I got picked over her daughters. A girl who has no magic got picked instead of two beautiful girls who excels on every subjects, tests and trainings in their class. Totoo naman yun. Inaamin ko, kahit mga bruha yun sobrang galing nila at ubod ng ganda. Yung ugali lang talaga nila ang sakit nila.Hihi😋.Ayos narin sa akin yun, ayoko din sila makita, naaalala ko ang lahat ng mga masasakit na salita ni binibitawan nila sa akin.

Lumabas sila Eve at Aria sa kanilang bathrooms. Both of them looked absolutely beautiful, especially with their gowns.

Nakita nila na hindi pa ako naka bihis kaya napataas sila ng kilay. "Oh, ba't hindi ka pa naka bihis?" Tanong ni Eve. "I'm not going to the party" I replied. "Huh?! Why?!" I forced a smile. "Well, unlike you guys, my parents died when I was four and my grandparents died when I was eight. I was sent to my aunt because she is the only close relative I have, but she hates me to the core, napilitan lang siya na alagaan ako. And she won't attend because I got chosen over her daughters to enter the academy." They gave me a sympathetic look. "We're so-" before they could finish their words a maid came in saying that the party was about to start. They looked at me. "Okay ka lang dito?" Tanong ni Aria. Tumango ako. "Oo, I'll just stay here in the room." Tumango sila at umalis.

I heaved a sigh. As much as I want them to stay, may pamilya sila. Ayoko naman na pati family day pino-problema nila ako. I laid on my bed. Ano kaya kung buhay pa sila mommy at daddy? Sigurado, sobrang supportive nila, lalo na at nakapasok ako sa academy. I groaned. Ever since that dream, lagi kong naiisip sina mommy at daddy, minsan pati si Grandma at Grandpa. I'm missing them again.

---10 minutes later---

I groaned and sat up. Kainis. Ang tagal matapos ng party. Tumayo ako at lumabas ng kwarto. Ang boring kaya gagala na lang ako. Wala rin namang tao sa paligid so no one would judge if I'm walking around with my pajamas on.

---6 minutes later---

Habang nag lalakad, I noticed that every time na nadadaanan ko ang mga bintana ng academy, there's a crow following me. Its like its waiting for me to go outside. Its creeping me out so I kept walking.

Hindi ko na alam kung saan na ako napunta. Nasa hallway ako na may mga malalaking picture frames. Mayron din itong mamahaling vase, some part of it was decorated in golden colored things, and there was a red carpet in the middle of the hallway. I've never seen this part of the academy.

May narinig akong papunta sa direction ko. I quickly hid in the dark part of the hallway. The footsteps stopped near to where I am hiding. I mentally cursed. I heard two people talking. Both were ladies.

"Such a shame, na ako ang kailangan na um-attend sa family day mo, diba, Eve?"

The way the other lady said the word 'Eve' it was full of so much hatred and disgust. My eyes widened. Si Eve!?!?

"As if I want you to attend, Matilda." I heard Eve's voice. The other lady, Matilda chuckled. "Alam mo ba, ang hirap talaga i-discipline ang ka gaya mo. But its okay, anak ka rin naman ng kabit ni Francise, natural ganyan ang ugali mo."

My eyes grew much more wider. I shouldn't be listening to these things. "You ugly witch! Never EVER involve my mother, for you hating me!" Eve shouted. "Why? Dear, I was just telling the truth, diba nga Lisa, my sister, is the mistress of my husband. AND she is your mother" Matilda chuckled. I heard Eve smirk. "You're lucky I still have respect for a woman like you. Oh, and let me remind you, daddy wasn't the only one who cheated, you cheated as well. WITH. HIS. BROTHER."
