Chapter 18:The Secret...

Days past into weeks. Hindi niya parin ako pinapansin and I also started to train on my own. Medyo mahirap at delikado pero sinu-survive ko naman.

I tried making a barrier with my powers. Hindi ko naman pwedeng controlin ang energy ng barrier. Kung nandito lang siya eh di sana may mapagpa-pratisan ako...

Na realize ko ang inisip ko, I quickly shaked my head as if I'm clearing my mind. Kaya ko ito. I can control it without him...

Inulit ko ang ginagawa ko. From a white mist unti-unting nag form ito sa isang solid na barrier. I kept controlling it until it grew bigger and bigger.

"Lintik! Mali!"

My eyes widened. Nawala ako sa control kaya sumabog ang maliit na barrier ko. Tiny shards started flying everywhere. May maliit na shard na tumama sa shoulder ko making a tiny cut.

"Ulitin mo!"

I looked around to where the voice came from. Wala. I know that the voice belongs to Ash. Pero wala siya, which means I'm hearing things. Umiling ako. There's nothing wrong, I just have to go back to practicing.

Inulit ko ng inulit ito pero epic fail talaga.

I sat on the floor breathing heavily. Sobrang daming cuts ang natamo ko sa arms ko at namamaga na rin ang kamay ko. Wala na ang restrains ng training room kaya walang pumipigil sa akin sa paggamit ko ng magic ko. Which is a bad thing since hindi ko alam if I'm using to much magic.

Haist. Kung nandito lang siya may sumisigaw sana sa akin para malaman ko na gumagamit ako ng too much magic...

Lumabas ako ng training room. I arranged the sleeve of my uniform para hindi makita ang mga sugat na natamo ko. I just realized that having Ash as my training partner isn't so bad after all. Kung ang naging training partner ko ay sobrang bait, papabayaan lang ako nito hanggang sa mawalan ako ng control at saka lang tutulong kung sobrang lala na ng sitwasiyon.  Having Ash yell at me helps, at least hindi ako nawawalan ng control. I suddenly felt guilt rise up my system. He's been helping me all along.

Habang palabas nahalata ko na puro juniors lang ang gumagala sa mga hallway. Asan na ang mga seniors? I've been noticing that something's not right. Its like the academy is hiding something from me...and the seniors are one of those secrets.

Pumasok ako sa cafeteria only to see na magkakasama parin ang tatlong teams. I guess their punishment is still not over.

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Eve at Aria. They placed the food in front of me. I played with the delicious salad using my fork. Parang wala akong gana kumain.

"Oh, okay ka lang?..."

I turned to face Eve and managed to smile. "Okay lang ako..." I tried to look hyper as I could but I guess she didn't buy it.

"Really? Then why are you playing with your food? Why do you look so down? And bakit namamaga ang kamay mo?"

I inwardly groaned. Sometimes she is just so annoying. Especially with her questions. I knew na wala na akong takas kaya napilitan akong sagutin ang tanong niya.
