Chapter 31:The Finale...

ACE POV

A glow of light came from the outside of the barrier.

I felt warmth radiate through my skin and just as that, the barrier was broken apart.

I looked at the surrounding while Eve helped me stand up.

It was completely destroyed. There was a big damage on the part of the wall, where the master of the Nightmare clan was standing before.

We only saw a burnt robe in the place. Along with Massimo's burnt cloak.

The floor of the room has a giant hole in it. Sinilip ni Colt at Seth ang nasa baba ng malaking butas at agad na binalik ang tingin sa amin.

"Nandoon siya sa baba,..."

Agad kaming bumaba at nagulat na lang sa nakita namin.

Mga bangkay...sobrang daming bangkay ng taga Nightmare clan ang nakahilata doon.

Agad naming hinanap si Ash at nakita ito sa gitna ng lahat ng mga bangkay.

Kinakapos siya sa pag hinga. But what made me more worried was his burnt skin. May sugat ang mga kamay niya and ¼ of his face was burned a little because of some flaming ashes.

Umupo ako at pinatong ang ulo niya sa lap ko.

"You shouldn't have done that!" Suway ko sa kanya. He laughed at my words.

"Its for all of us...I just avenged our parents" rason niya. Hinanghina na siya. "Oh God! It was stupid of you!" Galit na sabi ko. My voice even raised because of anger.

"Tsk. Wag mo akong alalahanin Smith. I'll be fine..."

"No you're not!" Sabi ko. God! I hate this guy! I hate it that I love him!

"Ace, he's drained. Nawalan siya ng high level of energy. His magic might defuse..." Paliwanag ni miss Amanda.

I looked at them worriedly. "But you can heal him, right?" Tanong ko.

"Please tell me you can heal him, please..."

Miss Amanda looked at me with disappointment. Umiling siya sa akin. "I'm sorry Ace, we can't,..." Sagot niya.

I looked back at Ash. "You're stupid for doing this!" Sabi ko. This time bumagsak na ang mga luha ko.

He shrugged his shoulder and even managed to smirk. "At least I get to save all of them. Especially you..." Sabi niya at pinunsan ang mga luha ko.

I don't even know kung saan niya nakukuha ang lakas para mag salita ng straight.

"Smith, I accept that I would die. But I'm fine with that. At least I get to die because of the one I love the most..."

Mas lalo akong napaiyak dahil sa mga sinabi niya. God this guy is stupid! He's such a monster!

"N-no! I...can save you! I can heal you!" Sabi ko nang maalala ko ang mahika na taglay ko.

Umiling siya. "No Ace, Ikaw naman ang mawawala" sabi niya.

I looked at all of my friends and teachers.

Ngumiti ako sa kanila. "This is my decision, wag niyo sana akong pigilan..." Pakiusap ko.

Miss Aliana looked at me. "Ace, ten percent na lang ang natitirang mahika sa katawan mo, if you use it, you'll loss your memory..." Pag papaalala niya.

Tumango ako. "I know, but please just let me do this..." I pleaded.

Sir Fabian sighed. "Kung yan ang desisyon mo, we can't do anything about it..." Sabi niya.

Napangiti ako at tumayo. Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. "Thank you sir, for everything..." Sabi ko at sunod na yinakap si miss Aliana.

When I pulled back I looked at my friends.

"Group hug!" Sabi ni Eve at niyakap ako. Sunod ay sumali na din si Aria,Seth at Colt.

That was the third time I saw Eve cry and the second time I saw Aria cry.

"Mami-miss ko kayo! Wag niyo akong kalimutan ha?!" Sabi ko. Humagugol naman si Eve at Aria at mas hinigpitan ang pagkakayakap sa akin. "Hindi ka namin makakalimutan, pero makakalimutan mo kami!" Reklamo niya.

"Oo nga naman, diba unfair naman yun..." Pabirong sabi ni Seth.

"Gaaah! I can't believe I'm crying!" Reklamo naman ni Colt.

Napatawa ako sa kanila. "Makakalimutan man kayo ng utak ko, hindi naman kayo makakalimutan ng puso ko..." Sabi ko.

"Siguraduhin mo lang!" Banta ni Aria. Tumango naman ako.

Bumalik ako sa tabi ni Ash. "Smith, don't do this..." He pleaded. Napangiti ako.

"Ash, kailangan eh...wag ka sana magalit ha? Tao lang naman kasi ako, nag mamahal..." Sabi ko. I leaned in and kissed his lips.

Kainis! Kung kailan ko siya mahahalikan, kung kailan mawawala na ako! I can't believe I fell so damn hard for this guy!

When I pulled away. I looked at him. He's just so perfect...

"Will you come back?" Tanong niya.

"If you love something, set it free, if it doesn't come back, it was never yours to keep..."

He frowned at the words I said. Lahat ng pag asang nakita ko kanina sa mata niya ay nag laho.

I held both his hand, closed my eyes, and with all my strength, I released my last magic.

"But if it does come back, then you were really meant to be..."

Those were the last words I said...

I slowly felt myself lose conscious but before that...

Before I drifted of to darkness...

I admired the faces of the people who helped me discover the real me...

Its such a sad moment to say goodbye to some people who you were attached to for so long...

Masakit talaga pag kailangan mo nang umalis...

Kapag kailangan mo na silang iwanan...

And worst part is...you have to forget them...

I guess hanggan dito na lang ang oras kong makasama sila...
