ACE POV

Tinapon nila ako si isa sa mga selda nila at sinara ang pinto.

Umupo ako sa gilid ng kwarto. I can't believe this. All of them must think that I'm a traitor for doing this.

"Ace..."

My head shot up quickly when I heard my name.

Linibot ko ang tingin ko sa bawat sulok ng kulungan. I stopped looking around when I saw someone else in the cell with me.

She was an old lady. Her hair had some white streaks in it because of her age. And it was in a messy bun. She was also wearing a night gown.

She was familiar to me indeed. I would never forget the face of my grandmother.

Tumakbo ako sa kanya at niyakap siya ng mahigpit. "Grandma...I missed you so much!" Sabi ko. Bumagsak ang mga luha ko. Its her. After so many years nakita ko na muli ang babaeng tumayong magulang ko.

She hugged back. "Me too apo..." Sabi niya.

I pulled back at tiningnan ang kabuoan niya. Wala siyang mga sugat o galos. Everything looked fine about her. Madumi nga lang ang night gown niya.

"Hindi ka ba nila pinahirapan? What did they do to you?" Tanong ko.

"Calm down Ace...they did not do anything to me. They can't hurt me because I might die. Mawawalan sila ng ibedensya na ipapakita sayo..."

"Why did they take so long to capture us? Why didn't they capture us noong mga bata pa kami? It's more easier... Right?" I know na biglaan ang pag tatanong ko. But I can't take anymore secrets.

"Dahil mas makokontrol nila kayo once you realese your full magic..."

"Then why did they kill my parents then?!" Galit na tanong ko. They know that I can't realese my magic before. Pero bakit parin nila pinatay ang mga magulang ko?!

"At first, they weren't thinking. They got to occupied about how to make their clan more stronger than the others. That's when they got a message about one of the daughter of the team who destroyed them..."

I knew that moment na ako yung tinotukoy ng Lola ko.

"Ikaw yun Ace. Nabalitaan nila kung paano ka nakapag realese ng isang mahikang minsan lang magkaroon ang isang tao. The Enhancing Magic. You may not remember how you first realesed it. Pero you did."

Hindi pala unang realese ko ng mahika ang nangyari sa Enchanted forest. I did it before.

"They wanted to get you that time. Hindi kaming lahat nakapaniwala sa lakas na taglay mo. Especially dahil hindi gaano ka espesiyal ang mga mahika ng ina mo na si Prim, at ang ama mo na si Cross..."

It's quite true. Hindi naman espesiyal ang mahika ng mga magulang ko. Si Mama ay may emotion sensor na mahika. Which 90 percent ng mga tao ay mayroong ganitong taglay na mahika. Si Papa na man ay may mahika na katulad ni Sir Fabian. Which also isn't a rare type of magic.

"Pero bago sila mag umpisang pag planuhan ang pag kuha sayo ay may dumating namang balita. It was about the son of the Leader of team Magia. Nabalitaan nila na nagkaroon ng anak si Xin na may taglay na Four Element Magic. Everyone could also not believe that he had a son with that type of Magic. Kahit na may taglay siyang malakas na mahika...iba parin ang sa anak niya..."

Si Ash ang tinutukoy ni grandma. He's the only one with the four Element magic na hinahabol ng clan.

And by that 'little'...for me is like thousands of years...

"Pero nagkaroon ng araw na nainip sila, so they tried to kidnap you once more. We stopped them from doing so...but sadly, dahil doon, namatay ang grandpa mo at nahuli ako..."

Her voice cracked nang binanggit niya ang nangyari sa kanila ni grandpa. All of this...because of me.

"Pero bakit laging ako ang habol-habol nila? Bakit laging ako lang yun hinuhuli nila?" Tanong ko.

"They need to enhance their magic first. Once they enhance it to the maximum level, they can finally destroy the academy and capture Xin's son...then use his magic to destroy the other clans and takeover the whole magic world..." Paliwanag niya.

Bigla akong nanghina. They'll use me to destroy the academy. At alam kong hindi makakalaban ang academy dahil hawak ako ng nightmare clan sa mga palad nila.

Narinig kong bumukas ang pinto ng selda.

"Oras na..."
