Miyah'sPOV.

I clutched the bear tight. It was so fluffy and soft. Tristan slid his fingers between mine and I held tight. I looked over at Demi, she was in Wilmer's arms. Aw, them two are so cute together.

Tristan began walking towards the Ferris wheel; we took our place in the line and waited. Demi and Wilmer joined behind us. When it was our turn, Tristan and I climbed onto the seat, a man came over and fastened the bar across our laps. A whirring noise began and the cart shuddered upwards. I waved bye to Demi and Wilmer as we rose higher into the air. We came to a stop as the man below ushered Demi and Wilmer into their seats. Once seated we began to slowly move, up and around. I held Tristan's hand. We stopped at the very top, Tristan turned so he was facing me more.

"I love you Miyah." He said, leaning in for a kiss.

"I love you too." I kissed him back.

"Tomorrow, come round mine? You've never been round yet." He said.

I grinned. "Sure, text me tomorrow when?"

"Sure thing baby." He put his arm around me and pulled me closer.

The wheel began to spin slowly around again, it was dark, the fair lights illuminated the sky, music, laughter and screams filled the air.

Demi turned around in her seat so she was facing us. She got her phone out and shouted. "Selfiee."

She took a picture of her and Wilmer and then Tristan and I behind her. To me Demi was more like a bestfriend, technically she was my 'mum' but bestfriend fits her better.

The wheel went round once more, as we hit the top our seat began to rock, the wheel began to stutter, then there was a loud creak and we suddenly jerked to a stop. At the very top. I looked towards Demi, she shot me a look of concern. Wilmer stood up slightly and looked over the edge.

"EXCUSE ME!" He called downwards. "WHY'VE WE STOPPED."

"Technical fault, we will sort this." The man called back.

It was the start of November, late at night. Freezing cold. I shivered. The wind whistled, rocking the chair slightly. I gripped Tristan's hand tighter.

"I'm  freezing." I shivered.

Tristan took of his coat and wrapped it round me, hugging me to try to warm me.

I hugged him back, infront I could see Demi snuggled up to Wilmer, he held her close.

After half an hour I yawned; "I'm so tired."

"Go to sleep then." Tristan giggled.

I buried my head into his shoulder and closed my eyes, his arms wrapped protectively around me. I was awoken by a loud buzzing noise, rubbing my eyes I looked around.

"They can't get it working again so they've called the firemen to come and rescue us." Tristan pointed to the big red truck getting closer.

"How long have I been asleep?" I questioned.

"About an hour; you look so cute asleep." He kissed my cheek.

I pushed him away, laughing.

The truck drove closer and the firemen began extending the ladder, first collecting those lower down, it took time but after twenty minutes they reached Demi and Wilmer. Demi climbed out first and slowly began to climb down. I could see at the bottom Eddie and Marissa both holding their phones up in the air, guessing filming this. After Demi was safe on the ground Wilmer was next to climb out, he looked terrified; guessing heights isn't his thing. Once Wilmer reached the ground they extended the ladder a bit more until it was touching against our seats. A fireman unhooked our bar and then gestured for me to climb onto the ladder. Tristan held me as I turned and climbed onto the ladder. Slowly I stepped down, once at the bottom I ran over to Demi and watched Tristan climb down to the ground.
