Yn POV I wake up and see ruby sleeping next to me. I smile and get out of bed and go to the kitchen. "Spicy ramen and cookies..........Perfect" I say and start making are breakfast. After at least 20 min Ruby woke up Judy's as breakfast finished. She stretched. "Good morning uncle Yn" she said I smiled. "Sit down breakfast is just done." I say she sits down. I bring out a bowl of ramen. "Ramen in the morning?" She says "try it I made it myself." I say she takes a bite. Then she inhaled all of the noodles and drinker all the broth in the bowl. "That.........was.........delicious!" She said "I have more and I'll have a bowl myself." I say giving her more then started eating my own.as I eat Ruby looks at me confused. "Uncle Yn?" She says "yes" I say "how are you...........eating" she said "well I don't really know but I can tast the flavor." I say and continue eating my spicy ramen. After we finish all of Are ramen we pat are belly's and burp. "I'm so full" Ruby says groaning "aw but I made cookies." I say she like magic became hungry. "What full no never!" She said in excitement. I laugh and rub her head. And bring out a tray of strawberry chocolate chip cookies and we inhaled all of them. "Ok now I'm full." She said "Me too rubes" I say "hey uncle Yn?"She said "ya Ruby" I say "can you tell me about your past" she said I sigh " ruby my past.........isn't the prettiest are you sure" I say looking down. She holds my hand and looks into my glowing eyes. "I don't care." She said "ok were to start..............I was a orphan until I was accepted into the brenwen family. There I met your uncle and aunt. We became family and we loved each other. But are father only had us for a specific reason. Too......................beat. Each day I would get beat I would take any pain and torcher that sick man would inflict so Raven and Qrow would be spared. That's the job of a older sibling to protect your family and mine is Qrow and Raven. One day he took me and.............burnt my eye.......after it was over I went to get Qrow and Raven and we left. I found a place near vale that gave decent money So I worked there got a apartment for us. Eventually I trained them. I didn't know much but I pushed them to new heights and the became great at what they do. I was going to enroll them into beacon but like you ozpin saw potential. While they went there I just worked and earned money for me and them so when there done doing that they could have money to fallback on." I say with a weird liquid going down my cold face. Tears Ruby embraced me into a hug. "You sacrificed so much"she said "the things you do to protect your family Ruby knows no bounds." I say "did you ever get married."she asked curiously "yes" I say "ooh tell me!" She said I smiled and pat her head "for another time little red." I say "what about yours." I asked "Well befor I was born my dad was with Aunt Raven and had yang. Then she disappeared to somewhere we don't know. And my father got lonely until my mother summer rose a member of STRQ helped take care of yang. And two years later they had me. After years of raising me and yang one day she went on a mission and..................... didn't come back"she said with tears staining her eyes I wipe them and hold her close. "Just because people say they are dead or missing it just means there not home yet. And even if they are dead they will always be remembered in are hearts." I say she nods into my chest crying. "Hey want to say hey to your freinds." I say "Ya"She said "ok get dressed I'm going to try to repair my face." I say while walking to a work bench and bending parts of my face back in place. Ruby came back into the room dressed in her usual attire since we don't have class. "Let's go Uncle Yn" she said I nod and put on my hood but enough to wear you can see my face. We walk to the cafeteria to see all are friends sitting in a table. "Hey guys!" Ruby says getting there attention. "Hey Ruby wow that's a cool robot where can I get one." Nora said "Sorry I'm not for sale" I say "CAYDE!" Everybody but Yang me and Ruby yelled "Ya this is what I look like so what." I say "Were you created in atlas you peace of scrap." Weiss said "No and I'm not going to answer any of your questions Ice queen." I say she pouts I look at Blake while no one looking at us I motion to her bow pointing out that it's crooked and I could see her ears. She realized what I was trying to say and quickly fixed it. I give her a thumbs up and smile. After a few minutes of them begging me to answer there questions I hear a yell of pain I turn to see Cardin pulling on a Bunny girls ears. I get poised and walked up to him. I tap his shoulder he looks at me and I punch him in the face knocking him out cold. "Take your leader to the infirmary" I say I then turn to the girl "you ok" I say she looks at me in shock but then nods I chuckle and ruffle her hair. "If he ever bullies you get your freinds teammates or me I'm cayde." I say and walk away. "I'm velvet." I hear her say "nice name" I say and walk to Ruby. And realized I need to train her......................and there is one place I can go that we won't be watched. "Ruby we need to go" I say walking away she says bye and runs over to me. "We're are we going" she asked I looked to see if anyone was listening to Are conversation. No one was. "Ok we are going to train you somewhere in the woods of patch." I say she gasp. "I love their.............can we stop bye somewhere." She said "of course Ruby" I said Time skip I watch as Ruby walked to a tree and right beside it looked over a small cliff. I say a stone no a grave stone................................
