Yn POV I was with team Rwby and Dr oobleck searching a area for grim or whatever I never paid attention when suddenly grim surrounded us I shot one then a shot more and more. And a couple more just to be safe. I was surrounded and could have easily taken them out but I had to let the kids play so I just let rwby fight them while I talked with Dr oobleck. And man I thought Qrow and Ruby were fast talkers but what does he put in his coffee. So after team Rwby showed there amazing skill we were continuing on Are journey.to do something still didn't pay attention. "Mr cayde what are you doing." Dr oobleck asked me. "Writing......it help me remember." I say while putting my book away. He nodded "good choice" he said while taking a sip of his coffee zooming up to Ruby "ms rose why did you bring your back pack." He asked Ruby looked neverous "Well uh" she said "ms rose what do you have in the bag that is so important that you had to bring" he said taking another sip of his coffee. Ruby was about to come up with a story when the bag opened and a dogs head popped out of the bag. "Get back in the bag" Ruby whispered to the dog "ms rose you brought a dog on this mission........you...........are.............A Genius!!!"he said picking up the dog looking at him. Everybody's but my jaw dropped. "What?!?" Weiss said confused "his nose could help us get to are location."he said I look up to see it's getting late. "Doc it's getting late I think we should take a break I'll take first watch." I said they nodded and got a small camp ready. Time skip I watch over my sleeping friends and them look up at the broken moon. I sigh "one day there will be peace......... I hope." I said and summoned my bag and went through my bag and brought out a little sketch book of terrible drawings that get better and better till it was perfect. I decided to draw my friends and family. After a hour of progress and failure I got the drawing done

I smile "practice makes perfect"those were the words she told me. Unconsciously I started drawing. I watch as my hand drawer this picture perfectly......because it is......a face I've seen so many time.....and a face I've fallen in love with. After I finished I looked down at my work.

"Practice makes perfect." I say "that it does" I hear a voice say I look to see dr oobleck looking at the pictures. "Who is this?" He asked I smile "Some one........from my past that I'll never forget." I say looking deep into the eyes of the drawing almost like it was actually her. "You loved her." He asked I chuckle "love her.................yes she is my everything." I say taking off my glove to reveal a Ring on my robotic hand. Dr oobleck looked shock. "Ya I know how is that possible......Well let's just say there's something's only I tell people I trust.........and luckily I trust you a little." I say We chuckle. "Go back to sleep I'll keep watch I do t really need sleep." I say he nods and heads back to sleep.i put my sketch book in my bag and wait Time skip I went through my bag and pulled out a book. And started to read. I started to read out loud Quietly. This got the attention of a certain cat Faunus. She looked at me and got up while I was reading and tapped my shoulder. "What's that.?" She asked " a book" I say while still reading not Evan giving her a glance. "What's it called." She asked I save my spot and close the book. I show her the cover. "Sadako and the thousand paper cranes."She said out loud I nodded and opened it and continued to read. After a minute of reading she looked board and wanted to ask a question. I sigh "what do you want to know." I ask "what's it about." She asked. "It's a story about a girl born during the end of a war............at the end of the war a atom Bomb was dropped and thousand pain thousands of people died the blast caused radiation which increased the likelihood of a old disease called cancer. The girl was born during when the bomb dropped and she got affected with cancer.......that went of a old story if you can fold a thousand cranes you can get a wish..............she died before she could......but her friends and family finished the rest of it for her.....and she lived forever in the world." (This is a real book and I highly recommend it. It actually made me cry)I say closing the book. "Want to read it." I say she nodded "ya I would like that.....thanks Yn.........I wish I had a Uncle like you."She said I chuckle. "Well you kids can call me uncle Yn If you feel that way.......you guys are like family too me." I say patting her head and rubbing her cat ears.....and like magic she was out cold and asleep on my shoulder. I place her on her make shift bed and place the book in her hands she hold it close to her. I smile and look back at the moon. "Peace........yet we have had so many wars.....so much death so much destruction...............when will it end........may oum have mercy on our souls." I say I turn too look back at the sleeping team to see Ruby was missing and her weapons are still here. My eyes widen "no.......please be safe Ruby I'm coming." I say and run into the woods leaving the rest of team Rwby to sleep......or so I thought turns out Weiss saw me leave.
Ok the trees stood the female hooded figure watching them with a sniper. "No it can't be." She said in disabhleaf.
Sorry this chapter took awhile I was playing final fantasy 15 non stop and destiny2 and I still feel like I can't get my light up. Well see ya just wanted you too know.
