Walang pumansin sa akin sa loob ng kalahating oras. Triton and Ahmed were talking while cursing at each other, while Troy Ferell's busy laughing and talking to himself, still with beers on both of his hand.

I tried to join Triton and Ahmed, but they refused to join me. Lalo na si Triton.

"Euphie, this is no fairy tale. Please talk to Troy for a while. Usapang lalaki ito." Kaya wala akong pinagpilian kundi humarap kay Troy Ferell.

I placed my chin on my knees while pouting in front of Troy Ferell, still talking to his beers.

Ang daldal na nga niya kapag walang alak, mas lumala pa ngayong lasing na siya.

I just ignore him, hearing his words from my right ear and letting it pass to my left ear. Sometimes there are some interesting words coming from his mouth, pero ngayong lasing siya hindi na ako umaasang ang kalahati ng mga sinasabi niya ay totooo.

I wonder how did Triton handle his bestfriend for years? Siguro nakukulitan sa kanya si Laura kaya lagi siyang iniiwan or maybe because he's super duper mayabang?

And I wonder why he's still sticking with that girl, kung lagi naman siyang sinasaktan. He's a Ferell, having the looks and money, bakit hindi na lang siya kumuha ng iba?

Typical rich kid with face. Mga bagay na naririnig kong madalas kay Autumn, August at Antonia.

"Troy, I know sometimes you're not being real." Inaakala ko nang hindi siya sasagot sa akin pero tumigil ito ng pag-inom at pilit sinalubong ang mga mata ko.

"No way, you mean fake? I am always the original." Tumawa ito bago muling sumisid ng alak.

"Kumento ko lang naman," kibit balikat na sabi ko.

Nag-abot sa akin ng beer si Troy na agad kong tinanggihan. Hindi ko pa nakakalimutan ang reaksyon ni Triton nang malasing ako.

"But sometimes, you really need to hide something. Mga bagay na tamang ikaw na lamang ang nakakaalam. Less involvement, less complication." Napahanga ako sa biglaan niyang sinabi.

"But how can you say that hiding will give you less complication? The word hiding itself is considered as complicated already, Troy Ferell." Tumaas ang kilay niya sa sinabi ko.

"You're talking like an adult now, interesting." Hindi ako sumagot dito pero siya ay nagpatuloy ng pagsasalita.

"It will never be complicated if you'll remain silent or you're just literally keep it to yourself, but once that you shared it to someone, make sure that he/she is really a trustworthy one. And this is when the complication starts."

Hindi ko akalain na makakakuha ako ng mga ganitong klase ng salita mula kay Troy Ferell habang lasing.

Sumulyap muna ako kay Triton, nakatalikod pa rin ito at abala sa pagkausap kay Ahmed.

And then I turned to face Troy Ferell again. Mas lumapit ako sa kanya at halos bumulong na ako sa kanya. Hindi ko alam kung may mas malalim pa akong malalaman sa lasing na Troy, but atleast I tried.

I just want to know any hint about Triton's secret. At alam kong imposibleng nalalaman ito ni Troy.

"Now tell me about Triton's secret." Kumunot ang noo nito sa akin.

Pero hindi rin nagtagal ay bigla itong ngumisi sa akin. He playfully stuck his tongue while moving his head like a childish kid enjoying to annoy his playmate.
