"I'm off to clinic, let's meet tomorrow." I messaged Triton before I went out of my clinic. I didn't inform him that I was going with Israel. He'd definitely ruin my plans.

Hindi pa man ako tuluyang nakakalas ng clinic nag-reply na agad sa akin si Triton.

"Where are you going? I'll pick you up."

"No need, focus on your work Triton."

"I'll look for you." Tumaas ang kilay ko.

"I thought you'll never look for me?"

"Binawi ko na matagal na! Damn it, sagutin mo ang tawag ko. I'll follow you. I have a tracker on your body." Naalarma ako.

Tracker? Saan nilagay ni Triton?

"I'll visit you tonight, sweetheart." I messaged him to calm down. Where was my gentle Triton, again?

"I'll follow you." I rolled my eyes before putting my phone inside my bag.

Isinarado ko na ang clinic, ramdam kong nakatitig na sa akin mula sa likuran si Israel. He gave me a smile when our eyes met. He was my good friend when I struggled during my years away from Triton and he gave me his full support inside and outside of the agency. I was still wondering why he hasn't tried reporting my outlaw move back then and now.

Kahit minsan ay hindi nito pinaramdam sa akin na kailangan ko siyang pangilagan. Israel made my life easier inside the agency when I felt alone, when I needed comfort and support. He's a good friend and I want to have a proper goodbye with him before I cut my tie with my agency.

Pinagbuksan ako nito ng pintuan ng sasakyan.

"Where do you want to go?" tanong nito sa akin.

Tahimik kami ni Israel buong biyahe, hindi ko rin gustong pag-usapan ang pagpapaalam ko sa kanya sa kotse gusto ko ay kapwa nasa isa't-isa ang aming atensyon.

"Or you just wanted to tell me that you like me better than Triton?"

"Triton's the only one." Tipid na sagot ko.

"You're always this straight, Euphie." Natatawang sabi niya.

"Because you're not serious with your words. Your eyes were sparkling for someone else. And it was not screaming for my name." I've seen how Israel looked at me for years, I saw adoration and admiration but it was never been deeper.

Alam kong may hinahanap ang kanyang mga mata o tamang sabihin may babae nang nakalaan sa mas pagkislap ng mga ito.

"Now tell me, why are you so good to me Israel? Hindi mo ba alam na pwedeng madamay ka sa ginagawa ko?" hindi ko na matiis ang sarili ko.
