Ivars anger has always been something you struggle to deal with. He never lashed out at you much but when he did it always ended in one of you storming out of the room.

This time though it was a little different. You accompanied him and his brothers on a raid, as you would normally do. Hvitserk had asked you to come help him collect a few things that had been left behind during the raid that the others found uninteresting.

You took a few books and a gold enlaced dagger. Many other Vikings found the small weapon to be useless but you liked having it, Incase someone got to close.

Hvitserk made a few jokes, as he does, and collected the things he wanted before you headed back to the camp side by side. As you walked over to the tent you and Ivar shared you felt his eyes on you.

Night settled in and Ivar finally decided to grace you with his presence, he walked in glaring at you.

"Nice to see you as well dear." You scoff and he rolls his eyes.

"I figured Hvitserk would of kept you busy. Dear." He sits and now it's your turn to roll your eyes.

"Don't be ridiculous Ivar I was simply-" you start but then he cuts you off.

"You have no say in this! Off keeping my brothers bed warm and making me look like a fool. The cripple who can't satisfy his wife! You whore I can't believe I even married you!" He yelled and his words caught you off guard.

You knew they were just words of anger but it still hurt you. Silence filled the tent as you stood up and turned to look at him. You closed the book you were reading and placed it down on the table.

"Run along to Hvitserk, I bet he can't wait to be with you once more!! You bitch, I trusted you and you destroyed it." He hisses at you and then you feel your own anger start to pile up.

His words stung like venom and it's almost as if he was putting acid down your throat. You just straightened your back, grabbed the new dagger you had found and shoved it into your boot before walking over to him.

"May Odin strike you blind, Loki warp your mind, Thor take your strength and Freyr seize your child." You spit, and then literally spit on his face before you storm out of the tent and make your way over to your horse.

Bjorn and Ubbe are out by the fire and smile at you and then look at you confused.

"Leave you whore! I do not need you, nor does anyone here. Your curses will do unnoticed by the Gods as they have no favor in you!!" He spits once more and you look over at him one more time and speed off into the words on horseback.

"Ivar what have you done!" Ubbe shouts and both him and Bjorn walk over to him.

"It is none of your concerns brother, she choose to drive me away by her actions." He hisses and Bjorn almost growls.

"She did not drive you away, you do so to her! Are you a fool! She loved you with everything she had and you cursed her away to go and die in the woods Ivar! Her loyalty to you was never ending yet you somehow gave it an end!" Bjorn shouts and Ivar stares at him.

Realization of what he had done kicks in and regret pools in his stomach. Bjorn was right and he knew it. Ivar looks down and guilt one over his face as he looks back at both of them.

"We must find her then before the Gods take her away." Ivar breaths out quickly.

Ivar prayed harder then he ever had before that you were okay, and he knew the second he saw you he would give you the world and everything more as long as you would forgive him.
