In the supernatural world, even ghosts and spirits have their own rules. For example, this type of cursed earthenware can be likened to hand-raising a spirit yourself. The moment the item enters the owner's possession is equal to signing a contract. If supposedly the owner wanted to throw the item away after an incident, something you often see in horror movies will happen. For example, if they tried to break the item, the second day it'll reappear, fixed and as good as new. If they tried to throw the item away, then in the blink of an eye the item will reappear in the house. To truly get rid of a cursed item like this for good requires an enormous amount of effort.

Someone knowledgeable like Lu WenQing naturally understands the processes involved to take care of such items. But he's never seen someone who works as simple and bull-headed like WeiXi. More importantly, as he squatted down to look at the remains, that ceramic basin was really destroyed just like that, death without a trace.

The Lin family was beside themselves with joy, but the expression on Lu WenQing's face was complicated. He still thinks his position on this trip to FengYang is a bit unfortunate.

But at least the incident was resolved and they finally get to leave this place. October 1st Golden Week means that FengYang mountain was 'people to the mountains, people to the sea,' and the town below the mountain was transformed into a tourist hub. All the nicer hotels have already been booked full so staying around any longer is no fun anyway, might as well head home early.

Before heading out, Lu WenQing called out to WeiXi: "Are you going to come with us?"

WeiXi: "To where?"

"Of course back to Beijing." Lu WenQing took that to mean he didn't want to return, looked at his pitiful outfit and couldn't help himself from coaxing: "Even if you don't go back, what's the purpose in running around outside and making yourself suffer? FengYang town is so small, don't mention living here, just finding clothes and enough food will be a big problem."

As he spoke, he turned around to look at his companions. LiRui of course counts as his cousin, but ShuoZong stood off to the side with his hands in his pockets and even turned his head away like it had nothing to do with him.

But WeiXi was shocked. Small place? Such a magnificent splendid city like this and it's still not the capital?

All this aside, WeiXi who spent so much effort coming down the mountain has truly experienced this suffering, and couldn't help but express his feelings: "There really isn't enough to eat."

Lu WenQing just completed the first official job of his life and ended up losing money as a result. And because of this result, he could again clearly picture the negative numbers in his bank account. Therefore, when he heard WeiXi's words, he was deeply touched. He felt like he and his peers whom he often met in school but had never gotten to know had unexpectedly shared the same predicament. He couldn't help but look at the sky and sighed: "Yes, home is the best. There's always lots to eat and always lots to drink."

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, the space around him dropped into silence. He felt eyes peering at the side of his head and turned around to see WeiXi staring at him intently. "?"

WeiXi flapped his hand at him and stomped the ground: "Let's go."

  ********

And just like that, Lu WeiQing somehow some way convinced WeiXi to go home, as if he's a runaway child.

Lin HanYang and his whole family were really sad to see WeiXi leave. After all, he was the first person to demonstrate true ability right in front of their eyes. Lin HanYang still wanted WeiXi to stay and read their fengshui for a day or two. Yet WeiXi looked around the house and stated simply: "There aren't many bad furnishings here, you don't have to change much."
