Her name is Sadie Hart.
Wispy hair dyed an orange-red
Sun-kissed skin and chapped lips
A sundress worn for 3 days straight.
She's hidden in the only slip of shade;
Outside the convenience store.
Nothing else but empty cans
A girl so out of place.
"Are you okay?" Jason asks.
He buys her a drink, some food.
"You are so kind," she says. "The sweetest person I've ever met."
His heart flutters.
She says she's got no one to call.
Their drummer, Scotty, says they should call the police.
Their vocalist, Nolan, says they don't have time to deal with this.
Their bassist, Chris, says they should just bring her along.
So Sadie Hart joins the Young Bandits.
