[Daddy]

-2 months later-

__________

You sat quietly reading a book that one of your friends had given at school today for your birthday. Yes, today was your birthday and only your friends at school remembered. Your mother was to caught up with Louis that nothing else mattered. She'd give you money without caring as she was to lovestruck with Louis. In which was cool, but worrisome at the same time.

But something was wrong. Between her and Louis you mean.

"Louis!" Speaking of the devil. You placed your book down and got to your feet before pressing your ear up to the wooden frame known as your door. "Louis where are you?!"

There was a bang making you flinch back cringing before pressing your ear back against the door.

"Yes?"

"What the hell is this?!" There was a sound of paper scrunching before silence.

"Umm... an electricity bill."

"Damn right it is! You expecting me to pay it?!"

"I suppose so, it is your house."

"See, this is what I'm annoyed at! I pay every little thing around here!"

"Why are you angry at me? It's not like I live here. It's your house and your bills." Louis said keeping a level headed voice.

"We're together now and I expect us to pay bills together!"

"You can yell in my face all you like, but the fact is I'm not paying that as I expect you to know I pay my own. I'm already tight on money as it is."

"Well I'm not paying this Louis!" Silence again before a heavy sigh.

"You've changed Angela."

"How?!"

"You're just... you're old now." You heard a slap and backed away from your daughter.

"Get out! Get out and never come back you filthy bastard!" Footsteps were heard fading down the stairs as you thought it was a relevant time to come out of your room.

Unfortunately though, it wasn't.

"You!" Your head snapped sidewards to see a red faced parent glaring at you. "Were you eavesdropping?!"

"N-no. I needed to use t-the toil-"

And for the first time in your life, your own mother slapped you across the face as you fell to the floor.

"You're ungrateful too, aren't you?! Thieving money from me and expecting dinner! Well no more! LIVE YOUR OWN DAMN LIFE!"

Your mother was in a state right now and you were copping it.

Nice way to spend your sixteenth birthday huh?
