Highkey, I stressed myself out when I wrote this 😂 And no, I wasn't stressed about writing it, the story got me stressed lol.

You ran down into the headquarters after getting off of the elevator that brought you down.

Ryuzaki turned around and widened his eyes, choking on his tea

"Ryuzaki? What is i-"
Light then turned around
"R-Ritsuko..?"

You widened your eyes with a dark blush, just now realizing that you were still in your pajamas

Embarrassed, you covered yourself with your blanket and looked down, your eyes filling with tears. You started to quickly walk away

Ryuzaki sighed, getting up and walking over to you. He grabbed your hand and turned you around, putting his hands on your shoulders
"Ritsuko, why're you crying?"
He spoke this small sentence softly, but the saddened look in his eyes asked much more

Looking down, you mumbled
"E-Embarrassing.."

Quite frankly, you were embarrassing yourself a lot in front of Ryuzaki lately...

Light smiled and got up. To your surprise, he grabbed a chair and rolled it over in between his and Ryuzaki's.
"Come sit over here, it's fine. This is your home too, no need to feel embarrassed."

That was.. nice of him..

Ryuzaki grabs your wrist and gently pulls you to that exact chair

You quietly sit down, hugging your knees with the blanket comfortably wrapped around you.

Ryuzaki and Light sat back down as well. The screen above you showed the Sakura TV special L had already set up, and Matsuda was there. Behind a frosted glass screen just like he said.

You were nervous and scared for him. What if..what if Higuchi has the same powers as the second Kira?.. What would happen to Matsuda?..

"I-Is he going to be okay..?"
You asked, sniffling

"If everything goes to plan, he should be alright."
Ryuzaki tells you this, yet you still feel a pit of nervousness inside you as you watched

Well-

Before that program actually started, a commercial featuring Misa started playing.

You sat beside L, and Light and Misa now stood behind you, awkwardly watching as Ryuzaki was tearing at his banana with his teeth

Light watched as Ryuzaki was doing so
"The commercial is almost over, Ryuzaki."

Ryuzaki immediately stopped biting his banana peels
"Oh, is that so?" He mumbled

Now, the second he stop, the program turned back on, there Matsuda was behind that frosted glass screen. It was only his silhouette, and as he started speaking, his voice was altered. It reminded you of the way Ryuzaki's voice sounded when it's altered through calls.
