Leave me alone Dad I texted back...
It had been two days since I sent that text message to my dad...he's tried calling and texting me at any chance, but I just ignored it.
I was walking around a park it was midnight when I last checked my phone I hadn't told anyone where I was going I needed space to think. I was sitting on a park bench when I felt little droplets of rain fall on me "shit" I whispered to myself
I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHERE I WAS as I looked up from the park bench. I saw 5% on the top right corner of my phone, panic started to set in and at that moment I needed my dad's warmth and comfort so I called him, two rings in he picked up
"Y/n" he spoke worriedly "I'm lost, I'm scared Dad I need you" As soon as the words left my mouth I heard him get out of bed and grab his keys "I'm coming baby don't worry" he said comforting me over the phone
I sat on the curb and waited for my dad to come to pick me up "Get in" he spoke opening the door for me
we sat in silence for a little bit until I decided to talk "I'm sorry Dad, I just felt like Emily was trying to take you away from me and when I saw you both watching our show together I guess that feeling felt too real" I confessed sobbing with my legs pulled up to my chest
I felt his hand rub up and down my back "I'm sorry I made you feel that way, and trust me you are always going to be my number 1 girl, also me and Emily broke up I wasn't ready to date yet" He held me as I sobbed but soon subsided when I heard he wasn't dating Emily anymore
"I love you Dad" I smiled "I love you more sweetheart"
