It wasn't fair, our little love of ours.
It wasn't fair that we were drawn together, only to be pulled apart.
Or maybe it was fair.
Because life is unfair to everyone.
Maybe that justifies it, I don't know.
What I do know is that what we had was beautiful. And I wouldn't say our time was wasted even though we knew what our ending would probably be from the very beginning, because I gained so much out of it.
Our love was bright, and it was always evolving, we were always learning.
Learning to trust.
Learning to love.
Maybe I'll see him again one day.
Maybe I won't.
But that's okay, because we were okay, right to the end.
And I'll never forget him.
