Chapter 4: First Encounter

Two to three hours passed. The bell rang, signaling everyone that it's time for lunch. Everyone walked to the cafeteria, got their lunch and sat at their tables. The five new students were standing, not even sure where to sit. "Hey guys over here!" shouted Raven. The five walked over and sat next to them. Henry sat next to Jack with Dylan and Darcy. Sonya and Drake sat in front of them. "Hey, are you OK?" asked Jack. Henry just nodded. "Hey," said Seth, appearing behind Jack. "Hey," replied Jack while Seth wrapped his arms around Jack. "How's talking to your friends?" "It's great. Except for the fact that Sabrie kept punching me in the arm," said Seth. "Aw. Is Sabrie abusing you?" asked Jack in a cutesy talk. "Yeah," replied Seth, his voice low. After hearing the word abuse, Henry's breath hitched. Jack noticed and rubbed his back in a circle. "What happened?" asked Seth. "He's having family problems," replied Jack. A few minutes later, everyone were let out to have some time to have fun. Jack and the others were running around playing tag. It seems to be a kid's game, but it was one of the favorite games for them. Seth was it and he chased after Jack. He soon caught up to him and he cornered him. "Tag. You're it," said Seth, low and husky. "You know I can't resist when you talk like that," said Jack, low and softy. They soon kissed but were interrupted by a rumbling noise. "What's that?" asked Jack. "We need to get to the others," said Seth. They ran and met up with the others. "Is that an earthquake?" asked Dinah. "It can't be. We don't have earthquakes here," said Mateo. They saw Selina with her mouth opened. "What is it?" asked Seth. Selina just pointed to a direction, and everyone turned to look. They saw a strange four legged creature running towards them. " Empódio!" shouted Jack. A green transparent dome came over them. The creature rammed into the shield, knocking it back. It looked like a rhinoceros. It had a brown armor platting on its back and on top of his head; four small horns on the head plate and five medium horns with two large horns on the stubs that point forward on the body plate. Its eyes were sky blue with reddish pink coloring around them, three small spikes under them, and a giant horn on his nose. It has three claws on his feet with three small to medium horns around its ankle area on his fore limbs, and it had light brown skin. The creature turned around, letting Jack and the others to escape. Gil, Harry, Sheena, Sam and the others met up with Jack and the others. "Jack, what is that?" asked Sheena, terror in her voice. "I-I don't know," said Jack. "It could be either a mutation or evolution of a rhino, but it seems unlikely." "So what could it be?" asked Sam. Then they saw two people; a male and a female. The male is fair skinned with black straight hair that is tied in a ponytail with two strands hanging over his forehead. He wore a black suit with a white shirt and black shoes. The female is tan skinned with black hair with gray highlights, tied in two, unbraided pigtails with two sections for bangs. She wore on the left side of her head a small amaranth purple top hat with blue feathers, scarlet dress with puffy short sleeves, and a amaranth purple waistcoat with gold lining and buttons with red and green feathers on the left side collar. She wears fading purple tights with face patterns that resemble Shadow Demons and wears black and white wedge heel shoes. For jewelry, she wears two golden vine bracelets around her wrists and a flower like medallion around her neck. On her right hand, she wore a purple mechanical glove. "Freddie, you know what to do," said the male. He had a Transylvanian accent. "Of course, my lord," said Freddie. She had a Louisiana accent. She pulled out a gray sphere and she activates it. Two glowing magenta ropes came out and wrapped the creature. The creature was struggling to break free but had no luck. "What are you doing to the Terrasaur?" asked Dylan. He and the others walked up to the strangers. Dylan was clearly angry. "What do you want, newbies?" asked Freddie. "I want you to free the Terrasaur," said Dylan. He pulled out a black glove, and it changed forms; it went from a black glove to a green gauntlet with leaf attachments. The others did the same. Sonya's gauntlet was mechanical yellow looking like it was welded together. Henry's gauntlet was sky blue with wave like attachments. Darcy's was purple with lavender highlights with a fleshy texture and stitch markings. Drake's was a dark red with flame like patterns. "Do you really want to duel in a public place?" asked Freddie, tauntingly. "It doesn't matter if we're in a public place," said Dylan. "Three-Eyed Dragonfly!" Dylan did a pattern and a portal appeared; an image of a safari tree with a round gear shape with circles in the gaps under it appeared. Soon a giant creature came out. It was 10ft long or more. The creature was dull beige with light brown armor platting on its back. It has bronze horns on its side and three large wings. It had sky blue eyes and four bronze mandibles. Its tail ended with a bronze tip. "Gigabolver!" shouted Freddie. The claws on the gauntlet came out and the portal appeared but this time the image changed; a purple and lavender skull with fangs and a horn and a part of a circle with small diamonds under it. A creature came out of it. Its head looks like four dull beige skulls fused together forming a diamonds shape. Its long neck has a dull beige underside and magenta ridges with yellow circles on it. The body looks like a dark green creature. The chest has two faces with yellow eyes forming a mouth. It had three limbs on each side: the front to had magenta forearms. The tail was dark green with a dull beige end. "Not fighting with the puppet?" asked Dylan. "Razorkinder doesn't seem fit to fight Dragonfly," stated Freddie. "Guys try to free the Terrasaur while I fight Freddie," commanded Dylan. The others followed the order and tried to free the creature, but they couldn't because the creature kept moving away. "This can't happen," said the male. He pulled out a light cybernetic gauntlet and the same happened like with Freddie. "Rapids Lurker Wwhhshrll!" shouted the male. The portal appeared with an image of waves and cybernetic patterns under it. An blue eel like creature came out. It had yellow eyes with dark blue markings, two antennas with neon green tips and thin long tentacles next to them, neon green frills with dark blue markings with blue fins attached, and a wide gapping mouth. It had two long arms like its body with suction cups and leaf like fins with neon green circles. Its tail ends with the leaf fin similar to its arms. "Zap them," said the male. Wwhhshrll slithered in the air to attack the group. "Guys, keep the Terrasaur still. I got this," commanded Drake. "Summon a Nature creature. Your Fire creature won't stand against it," said Henry. "Raging Goliant!" shouted Drake. The Nature portal appeared, and a green bipedal creature came out. It had yellow eyes with a dark green helmet with a yellow blade. It wore a beetle like chest armor with green wing like blades. It had a thin green frame with brown arms and crossbow arm gauntlets. "Fill that eel with arrows," said Drake. Goliant aimed and launched arrows at Wwhhshrll. Wwhhshrll dodged the arrows and wrapped its body around Goliant. It then send out an electric charge causing Goliant to disappear; in its replacement: pink cherry blossoms and leaves fell to the ground. "Gigabolver! Sink your teeth into that bug!" shouted Freddie. Gigabolver pounced, but Dragonfly flew away and stabbed the other creature in the back. Gigabolver vanished in a plum of dark violet smoke. "Seems like you're defeated," said Dylan. "Does it?" asked Freddie. She pointed towards the Terrasaur. Wwhhshrll zapped the creature and wrapped its body around it. "Seems like we have it now," said Freddie. "Freddie, time to go," said the male, walking up to the creatures. Freddie met up with the man, and soon they vanished. "Can't believe they got it," said Darcy. "Don't worry. We'll stop them and get back the Terrasaur," said Drake. "For now, we need to wipe the students memories," said Dylan. They walked up to Jack and the others. "Henry," said Dylan. "Summon the Cyber Virus." Henry opened the Water portal and tons of little floating creatures came out. They had an oval shaped head with no eyes or mouth. They had a stream-like sky blue body with white markings and pale blue tail fins. It had long thin arms with wide pads. Most of the creatures went into the school and started erasing the students memories about the events. Eleven of them started to float towards the group. "Wait! Why would want to do this?" asked Harry. "Because we can't risk people finding out," said Sonya. "Wait, those people took that creature. They're like smugglers," stated Jack. "I want to save animals in this world, if people are taking creatures like those, I want to save them." "We do, too" said Seth. "Maybe we can spare them and we could show them our ways," said Henry, shyly. "OK. You know I can't be mad at you," said Dylan. "OK well, give me your address and I'll pick you up tomorrow." Seth and Harry gave their addresses to Dylan. "OK well, see you tomorrow," said Drake.
