Chapter 10: Sirens On Earth

Everyone were in the cafeteria, eating and chatting. Jack was talking to Henry, Sheena was still upset, Gil and Harry were snuggling close together, Sam and Seth were with their friends, and the others were chatting and laughing. Outside of the cafeteria, near the doors, three girls were lurking around. The tallest had fair light skin, brilliant raspberry eyes, and waist length luminous vivid orange curly hair with brilliant yellow streaks. Her hair is pulled back except for two sections for bangs. She wore a light lavender bolero with puffy short sleeves, a purple tinted indigo sweetheart top and high waist shorts, lavender leggings with dark lavender triangles, shin-length dark purple tinted indigo boots with gold spiked bands and yellow spikes down the light brown heels. For accessories, she had a dark purple spiked headband, a black choker with a red crystal pendant, light lavender fingerless gloves, a gold spiked belt with a yellow diamond belt buckle, and a yellow diamond connected to a treble clef on both sides of the pant legs. The second tallest had tanned skin, moderate mulberry eyes, and waist length moderate purple straight hair with light brilliant aquamarine streaks. Her hair were tied in two, unbraided pigtails except for two sections for bangs. She wore a dull sea green bolero with ripped sleeves, a dull light yellow tank top with a purple collar, dark magenta pants with white spots on the pockets, and dark purple shin-length boots with straps. For accessories, the hair was tied with two silver stars, a black choker with a red crystal pendant, three dark purple bands on both lower arms, and two dark purple belts with a silver star belt buckle. The third tallest had fair skin, moderate raspberry eyes, and light article blue straight hair with moderate Persian blue stripes. Her hair was tied in a ponytail except for bangs that covers her forehead. She wore a plum school girl shirt with a fandango collar and rolled up sleeves with three light blue straps, a lavender skirt, knee-high dark lavender shoes with lavender socks and white soles. For accessories, she had a moderate Persian blue band for a hair tie, a black choker with a red crystal pendant, a blue eighth note with a fandango heart that represent a broken heart, and fandango bracelets with light blue spikes. "So, what are we doing here?" asked the purple haired girl. "I hope it's to eat. It's taco Tuesday," said the blue haired girl. "We are not here for that, Sonata," said the yellow hair girl, sternly. "So, what are we doing, Adagio?" asked the purple haired girl. "We're hear to make these kids adore us, Aria," said Adagio. "So, what's the plan?" asked Sonata. "Let's go in there and follow my lead. Our voices are strong enough to control them," said Adagio. "Or, maybe follow my lead," said Aria. "MY LEAD," said Adagio, grabbing Aria's shirt. "What do you mean?" asked Darcy. "It's not singing. It's horrible noises," said Selina. As soon as the song is over, all the boys walked up to them. "Seth, no," said Jack. "Harry?" asked Gil. "I think I know who they are," said Raven. "They're Sirens." "Sirens?" asked Sonya. "They're mythical creatures who lure men with their songs," said Jack. They saw what the Sirens and the boys are doing. The Sirens were sitting on the tables like they were thrones. The boys were around them, some looking and touching them sensually except for Sonata, who was just playing with them. Jack got up and walked up to them. "Girls, look like we missed a boy," said Adagio. Aria and Sonata got off the tables, circled around Jack, and started to vocalize. Once again, Jack covered his ears and groaned. Aria and Sonata stopped and they were puzzled by that. "How come you're not under our spell?" asked Adagio. "Your spell isn't strong enough. It only works on boys who are masculine," said Jack. "That's true, but why did you cover your ears?" asked Aria. "You're singing is horrible. All I hear are noises," replied Jack. The Sirens started to get angry and ordered Seth, Sam, and Harry to attack him. The others noticed and helped Jack escape.

School ended and everyone went home except for the hypnotized boys. Jack and the others were at the apartment. Jack was comforting Henry. "Is there anything that can break the spell?" asked Sonya. "No," said Raven. "Let me try," offered Henry, shyly. Dinah gave Henry her phone, but Henry didn't get it. He pulled out his phone and looked up the counter spell. "Found it," said Henry. "How?" asked Sheena. "I specialize in the Water Realm. I picked up their knowledge on technology," said Henry. "The counter spell is a song." "OK, so what's the song?" asked Gil. "It can be any song, but it has to be from the heart," replied Henry. "OK, we have the counter spell, but who will sing?" asked Darcy. "Jack, why don't you sing?" asked Raven. "I would, but I don't sing in front of people. I'm shy," stated Jack. "So you have stage fright," said Darcy. "Yeah, basically," replied Jack. "Jack, if you don't do it then you'll lose Seth. I'll lose Harry," said Gil. "OK, I'll do it," said Jack. Everyone went to sleep for tomorrow.

The next day, everyone were in the Commons Area. All the boys were still under the Sirens' spell. Jack and the others were at the entrance. "Jack, you can do it," said Raven. "Here, this will make your voice loud so everyone can hear you," said Henry, giving him a earpiece with a microphone earpiece. "Thanks," replied Jack as he placed the earpiece. Jack went up to the Sirens. "Look girls, it's that bastard critic," said Adagio. "What you gonna do? Say 'mean' comments about our singing," said Sonata. Jack looked back at his friends. He saw Raven motioning 'go for it' then he looked at Gil who had a worried look on his face. He was thinking of if Jack doesn't sing then he'll lose Harry forever. Jack turned back and hesitantly open his mouth. He took a deep breath and pretended that he's alone. "🎵 Cover my eyes,Cover my ears. Tell me these words are a lie. "Our spell is broken," said Sonata. Jack leaned into the touch and kissed Seth while he lifted Jack's leg up his waist. Harry ran up to Gil and picked him up. Gil wrapped his arms and legs around him and kissed him. Sam's friends came up to him and hugged him. Dylan and Drake ran up their friends and they hugged them. Henry didn't hug Dylan, but he was then shocked at the hug that was given from Drake. Henry looked up and saw passion in Drake's eyes. Seth parted, and Jack walked up the Sirens, angry. "You need to leave now," commanded Jack. "We don't take orders from a bastard like you," said Adagio. "Yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" asked Sonata. "You better run or else," said Jack, waving his gun. The Sirens ran out the door. "This isn't the last time you hear about the Dazzlings!" shouted Adagio. "Wow! I didn't know that you can be tough. I always thought you were soft," said Seth, wrapping his arms around Jack's waist. "Yeah well, I have to in order to protect the animals, and plus, I have a dark side," replied Jack.

The Dazzlings ran a few kilometers away from the school. "Ugh, damn it! I can't believe that bastard ruined our plans," said Aria. "Don't worry, we still have still have our pendants," said Sonata. "I'm Verona," said the mysterious girl in a Transylvanian accent. She had a pale complexion with chin-length messy periwinkle hair that cover the upper portion of her face. Her outfit consists of a periwinkle bodysuit with an open diamond-shaped keyhole neckline, white high waist shorts, a knee-length, frost blue, sheer skirt, and pale blue flats. "I know someone who make all your troubles disappear," she said. "Who is he?" asked Adagio. "Draco," replied Verona. "What do you think, Adagio?" asked Aria. "If this Draco guy can get rid of those people then we can join him," said Adagio. "Do we have a deal?" asked Verona. "Yes," said Adagio.
