Skirt chasing, men flaking

Menacing with her wander,

seductive with each step,

her alluring dead-sky eyes, haven't noticed me yet.

Her heart did not call out for me,

there was no love in her song,

she enticed me into her trap, she knew I was watching all-along.

Transparent, her empty chest

I knew she wouldn't be my wife,

but really what's the harm,

with one little bite?

I bit into her sweet poison,

two, maybe three times

I sucked out every trace of the venom,

and whilst I sucked and sucked, even with indescribable resent,

she never looked me in the eyes.

Her venom, ever-so intoxicating

I will not deny, I got addicted

she told me I was the sick, twisted-bitter one

Only, contagious pain and rage she afflicted.

After kissing her scars, whilst each eye squeezed shut

After exploring,

trying to understand each stitched cut

I don't think I was ever going to be enough.

I tried, and I tried, and I tried,

to hold her close and keep her near,

her magnetising ways, which attracted me,

repelled, I couldn't get through her invisible knight,

his name was fear.

But still, her enchanting way with words

and her appetising smile,

I COULDN'T STAY AWAY

I tried catching stars,

they were dead,

I would always return in a while.
