People said that the moment before your death, your life would flash through your eyes in that last remaining seconds.

And I found it funny how accurate that was.

These memories replayed in my final breaths because the part of the brain that stores memories was the last to go.

In what felt like final moments, time was no longer a tangible measurement. I couldn’t quantify how long these flashbacks were – short or long.

I could see how everything happened again. With a better point of view this time.

My first birthday

My first word

My first step

My first time riding a bike with the help of kaa-san and tou-san

My first day of kindergarten

My first time holding a real katana

My first time meeting ryu in primary school

My first time experiencing someone's death in front of my eyes which just happen to be kaa-san's

My first time being left alone in despair

My first time officialy joining the yakuza's meeting

My first time participating in a real fight

My first time leaving japan

My first time arriving in korea

My first highschool gang

My first tour

My first hang out

My first love.

That's it, that's my whole life flash through my eyes. Pretty short right? what do i expect from someone who had only live for 18 years?

It was also said that the face of the one you cared and loved the most will came up as well. I was expecting kaa-san's face or perhaps tou-san's but the face that came up at the last moment of my life

was his face.
