when you got to accompany ben to a photoshoot. while the stylist was doing his hair, you were talking to ben the latest about how school was going. when you were talking ben zoned out a little, he was thinking of when was the perfect moment he could propose to you. it had been on his mind for a while now and he already got your father's permission to ask so why not? ben made up his mind; in a couple of weeks it would be your two year anniversary, he would ask you then and he couldn't wait.
