you were in the crowd watching your friend warren in the mutant fighting pit. the goons in charge of the pit brought in a tall box and opened it. you gasped in horror. the victim they captured was your brother kurt. you and your brother had a telepathic conversation about how to escape. if it wasn't for mystique, you don't know what would've happened if she hadn't helped you and your brother. when she died, you felt like you lost a part of yourself. kurt was the only family you had after and you both stuck together like glue.
