I spent my whole afternoon in the library looking for something to tell me what the Death Potion is.

"What are you reading?" A voice spooked me from behind, Miles

"Nothing," I said closing the book

"Potions?" He asked curiously

"Yes, I'm failing miserably in that class" I laughed nervously

"Your the top in that class Emerald," he said raising an eyebrow

"Oh, well it's good to study I guess," I said before grabbing the book and standing

"Where are you going?" He asked as he followed me

"To the common room"

"The common room is that way," he said pointing towards the opposite way I walked

"I'm taking a long way, look I'll see you at dinner," I said still walking, I turned my head a little and saw him standing there watching me curiously.

I finally arrived at 'my spot', a place in the forbidden forest with a cascade nearby. I sat down on the brown dark soil and laid my back on the oak tree behind me. I opened back the potions book and started reading, I got on page 445 when I saw it.

Death of Despair:
This potion was a black potion contained within the Death Cell at the Magical Congress of the United States of America. It was used to carry out executions in the 1920s, especially in 1926 with the failed death sentence of Porpentina Goldstein.[1]  Prisoners were taken into the Death Cell and had their memories extracted by an executioner, which was subsequently placed into the potion. The potion could replay the memories like a Pensieve, with the added effect of keeping the condemned mesmerized and susceptible to suggestion.[1]

Once the condemned was placed in the chair, it would hover over the potion, allowing them to see their happiest memories for a final time.[1]

Once a wand, either that of the condemned or the executioner, (presumably as well as any other object) was added to the potion, the potion would become agitated and begin to rise towards the condemned, while the chair would begin to lower into it.[1]

"What were they doing with that potion though?" I asked myself quietly.

I made my way towards the Great Hall for dinner before I was pulled by my wrist into a narrow isolated hallway.

"Don't drink anything Miles gives you" Riddle says

"I won't," I said before walking off and going through the Great Hall doors. I saw Miles waving at me to sit by him, I walked towards him and sat down. In the corner of my eye, I saw Harry watching me intently, their about to kill me.

"You must be thirsty here, drink this," Miles said before pushing a goblet my way. The drink looked like pumpkin juice, so I lifted the cup to my mouth and acted like I was drinking it. This wasn't pumpkin juice, the smell was not pumpkins. I sat the goblet down and started coughing, Miles put a hand on my back and patted it. I stopped coughing and stood up, Miles looked at me shocked that I was still alive at this point.

"Let's take a walk, why don't we?" I asked him as I started walking. I looked back and saw he wasn't following me so I nodded my head towards the door, he stood up and looked at Harry.

"Don't look at him, look at me, what is he going to do?" I asked as I smiled and he looked back at me and started walking.

It was still dinner so people looked at us awkwardly, but we walked out of the Great Hall and I led him to the Forbidden Forest.
