THE WHITE DOOR.

It wasn't like Licht was any less creepy than the other boys you've met, but there was something about Licht that felt like he knew answers so you went rushing to the male's room,
flipping the door handle and entering his room.
"Oh? Back so soon?" he looked at you with amusement,
and you looked at him, "What you said was true, there's really a wolf out there." you said in panic, your face alarmed but he looked the opposite, so calm and unbothered.
"Of course it's true." he decided to sit on a sofa and he invited you to sit beside him,
"There really is a wolf inside the estate, and the tales you've heard was true." he smiled at you in a gentle manner,
"I didn't really want you to experience that, but I guess it also doesn't hurt for you to hear the story again." he looked at you momentarily before wrapping his hand on yours,
"Would you like to hear it?" he asked and you had nowhere else to be, so you nodded.
"Very well." he started,
"There lived four brothers at first, then came another woman into our father's life and they had two more boys, that made us six. I believe you've met all of them tonight," he smiled and you nodded,
"Then out of nowhere a curse fell upon one of our beloved brother, his face was rotting away and the only way.....or the only way I knew.....to fix his problem was to turn to dark magic," he looked away slightly,
"It was horrible indeed. We had to sacrifice two of our brothers to save one." he stopped.
"So you sacrificed the half brothers?" you asked,
"Indeed. We kept telling ourselves that it was for the greater good. But I guess we should have thought more about the half brothers."
"One was willing, he grew quite close to the dying brother. But the other don't enjoy the same relation, you see." he said,
"Is the one cursed.....William?" you asked, suddenly remembering his mask and the scar on his face.
"You're quite right. We had to save William, our beloved brother." he explained,
"Well time was running out and we have one willing brother but we still had to sacrifice one more, whether he was willing or not, to save William."
"So.....you sacrificed him without consent?"
"That I did."
There was silence for a while,
"But William is saved. Though his curse marks remain and the unwilling gain a mark of his own." he said and then contemplates on his next move,
"I also gained one, here at my teeth, it has become a fang." he showed the fang you saw earlier.
"But it's harmless. I don't harm anyone." he explained when he saw you shift uncomfortably.
"Which wolf did you saw?" he asked suddenly,
"What do you mean which wolf? There's more than one?" you asked,
"Yes. Two wolf for two sacrifice. Two of our half brothers are able to turn into wolves." he explained,
"I-I don't know?" you said, "I just saw the shadow."
"Oh." he smiled, "Well let's hope it's not the bad one."
"There's a good one?" you asked and he nodded,
"Yes, not every beastly looking creatures are bad." he smiled gently at you.
"But don't worry, the bad one won't come to you here. He hates everyone except for the other half-brother, and thinks of everyone as a traitor, including our William. But he especially hates me because I did the sacrifice." he sighed,
"So he won't come anywhere near us, because he hates being around me." he chuckled,
"I don't know if that's a curse or a blessing." he added.
"D-do you ever regret it?" you asked.
"Everyday." he answered, "I shouldn't have meddled with dark magic and sacrificed my other brother just to save another brother. There must be another way. In the end, it didn't really work out to everyone's favor. We're stuck here to take care of our evil wolf brother so he doesn't go out harming anyone else outside the ball." he paused and then gently lifts your jaw with his finger,
"But tonight, I don't regret it. It has brought you to me."
