After Emmett left I was frozen.

He kissed me. I kissed him back. But then I remembered

He has a girlfriend.

Why did he have to have a girlfriend? But I guess it is my fault too. I only realized my feelings for him when it was too late.

'He didn't mean to do it.' I told myself.

If he had feelings for me he wouldn't have asked Lauren out. Hell, if he had feelings for me he wouldn't have slept with more than half the girls at our school.

Okay then, when he comes home I'm not gonna bring it up. No, I'm gonna pretend that it didn't happen.

'You need to move on' my inner voice told me

I guess I just convinced myself to move on. But why does it feel so wrong? I shouldn't think about this any longer. Plus I don't want to cook, so I guess we're ordering pizza. I'll just call Bailey and see how she's doing.

She answered after the third ring.

"Hola" I said grabbing chips from the counter

"Hey!" She said in a peppy voice

"Someones in a good mood" I said raising my eyebrows even though she couldn't see me

"Yeah! Kai texted me and oh my lord I can't even right now! We've just been texting non-stop!" She said giggling and squealing

"Aw, Bailey! Sounds like someone has a crush?" I said dragging out the word 'crush'

"I think so! I mean we basically have everything in common and he's pretty freaking cute if you ask me!" She said excitedly

"I'm so happy for you Bailey" I said genuinely

"Thank you Nicky, if it weren't for you I woudn't be this happy! I think that we might actually go somewhere in a relationship. Speaking of relationship how's the whole Emmett and Lauren thing going? How are you?"

"Um yeah about that.... Afterschoolimayhavetackledherandslappedherface." I said all in one breath

"You what?!" Bailey yelled in the phone

"After school I may or may not have tackled and slapped Lauren." I said letting my voice drop in a guilty manner.

There was a long silence until Bailey finally spoke up.

"You go girl!" Bailey yelled

"Tell me more?" she asked

So I did, I told her every single detail.

"HE THREW YOU?!" She yelled getting angry

"AND YOU'RE THE ONE TO APOLOGIZE?! HELL NO!" She yelled

Oh my lord, I think I just unleashed world war III on Emmett

"No wait! He apologized and I realized that I'd rather have Emmett in my life than push him away because a stupid crush. He's our best-friend Bailey, we can't just get rid of him because I like him." I said sadly

"Okay first of all, you love him, we established that at school..." I laughed a little, but she continued "And second, we would do perfectly fine without Emmett, I mean girl power!" She yelled trying to make a point but I just giggled.
