Chapter 12: Sex God

I'm really trying to focus in Math class. But I can't. All these questions are floating in the back of my head and the teachers words are starting to sound like gibberish.

Why did I let him kiss me?

Why did it feel so right?

Why? Why? Why?

All these questions and I don't have a single answer for any of them. I don't know if this is apart of Emmett's sick game or if he actually meant his apology. If it were any other day and things hadn't happened I would easily be able to tell if Emmett was lying or not but now since he's changed... I have no clue what to think anymore.

My thoughts are interrupted by the school bell signaling the end of school. I quickly gathered my things and rushed out of the classroom. As soon as I reached my car door I felt hands wrap around my waist and pull into a hug. I already knew who it was.

I turned to face him but was shocked when my eyes were met with shining hazel ones.

"Ethan?" I questioned surprised

"Hi Nicky" He said hugging me again and putting his head in the crook of my neck.

Over the past weeks Ethan and I have developed a close friendship. Plus he gave the best hugs. I breathe in slowly just because it's been a long day but I get caught up in the fact that Ethan smells like my perfume...

"Ethan why do you smell like Vanilla?" I question pulling out of the hug and cocking an eyebrow at him

"Uh... remember that time I came over? Yeah I took your extra perfume." He said blushing

"Ethan! You could have just asked!" I slapped his chest playfully trying to stay mad at him but I couldn't help but laugh.

"What's so funny?" Ethan pouted

"The fact that you took my perfume!" I said bending over and putting my hand on my knees to hold myself up

"It's not that funny" He pouted again

I couldn't help but also laugh at the thought of Ethan sneaking my perfume in his pants or something so I couldn't see. I laughed even harder leaning against my car.

I finished my laughing fit and wiped away some tears from laughing so hard. But then was met with an unexpected voice.

"What was so funny?" a husky voice asked. I automatically froze from what I was doing. I looked up and was met with the familiar blue eyes I expected the first time.

"Um nothing..." I trailed off straightening my self up and fixing my shirt

"Well it definitely was something I could hear you laughing inside the school halls" He smirked.

"What ever Emmett" I rolled my eyes

"Um sorry to interrupt....What ever this is" Ethan continued motioning his hands between me and Emmett "But I gotta go Nicky" He finished and quickly engulfed me in a hug and mumbled a soft 'bye' to Emmett which I can probably guess Emmett couldn't hear because he was too busy glaring at me when Ethan gave me a hug.

"What was that about?" Emmett questioned when Ethan was out of sight

"What was what about?" I asked confused on what he meant

"You and that Edward kid" He said in a 'duh' tone

"Ethan. His name is Ethan. Kai's brother? Yeah him." I said looking at him like he was stupid and he just shrugged

"Whatever, are you guys a thing?" He said completely dismissing the fact that Edward and Ethan are very different names.

"I can have guy friends besides you Emmett" I rolled my eyes again

"So I'm your friend again? Can we turn it back to best friend now?" He asked turning his glare into a smile a five year old would have

"Um let me think about it..." I pretended like I was thinking "Yeah-No" I finished and was going to turn around when I was something pulled my arm causing me to be slammed into Emmett chest.

"I thought you forgave me?" He pouted giving me puppy dog eyes

"Oh but you forgot the part when I said I won't forget..." I said mimicking his expression and talking in a baby voice. Emmett frowned when he heard that. I pushed away from him, well tried to push away from him but Emmett had another thing planned. He hugged me tight and did what Ethan did earlier and dug his head in the crook of my neck

"I'm not letting you go til you say you and I are okay" He said but his voice was muffled due to the position we were currently in

"Emmett" I began trying to get out of his death lock "You're making a scene" I said struggling to get out

"Don't care" He replied as if it was the simplest thing in the world

"But we are in the schools parking lot and everyone's staring" I whined quietly so only he could hear me. It was true, people were staring and I was getting quite uncomfortable.

"Just say we are okay, oh and that I'm a sex god," He said and I could feel him smirking against my neck

I kept trying to push away from him but that only made him hug me tighter. I sighed loudly in defeat, and did as he said.

"Emmett I completely forgive you..." I sighed

"And" He ushered me to continue

"Your a sex god." I muttered under my breath

He pulled away and held me by my shoulders

"What I couldn't quite hear you, please repeat that last part?" He said as if this was the best thing ever

"You're. A. Sex. God. There happy" I sound loud enough for him to hear and more

"Extremely" He replied and smiled

"Great can I go home now?" I said getting my car keys out again

"We" He said

"We what?" I asked confused

"We can go home" He smiled triumphantly and started walking towards the car as if everything is normal

Great.

I sighed and walked towards the car.

At the House*

The car ride to Kyle's school was somewhat pleasant, meaning we basically listened to music in a comfortable silence, and when Kyle was in the car he didn't hesitate to sing every song he knew. I laughed at him till we arrived at home.

"Kyle you can do your homework in the living room so I can keep an eye on you" I said as he skipped towards the house yelling a loud "K"

"And I can keep my eyes on you" Emmett whispered in my ear making me shiver. I hated that he has that effect on it

"Glad I have that effect on you" He smirked at me then entered the house. Still shocked at what just happened I stayed in my place for a little while before entering the house.

I walked towards the living to find that Emmett was actually helping Kyle with his homework. I was surprised at two things. One Emmett actually doing homework, and Two he actually knew what he was doing. I mean Kyle's only 7 and is in 1st grade but to me Emmett is pretty stupid so you never know.

I walked towards the couch and sat down going on my phone to text Bailey-who was probably doing god knows what with Kai. God I really need more friends. I didn't notice I was dozing off until I felt a blanket being thrown over me, and let sleep take me.

Maybe he changed, in a good way?
