Chp 7 - Strange Feelings Within

It was finally time to enter the maze. Yet another sign caught the trio's attention. "Feeling lost yet!? You must feel UTTERLY HELPLESS among this twists and turns! Your sense of direction won't save you now!" -Signed Lancer. Another sign of Lancer. 'He must be up ahead,' Y/N guessed.

But then another sight caught her eyes. A squished pink like person, was flattened on the ground. Her eyes widened in panic, and she alarmed the team about squished monster. "It looks some sort of enemy," Y/N said quietly. "Oh no, it looks like they've been squished! Who would've caused this," Ralsei said worriedly. Y/N shrugged helplessly with no answer.

Leaving the poor clobbered things, they arrived to a cut in the path. "Which way should we go?" Y/N asked hesitantly towards Kris, Ralsei was also looking expectantly at them too. They decided to take a right. Another sign was up ahead. "Hey, wait!! Where am I!? Help! Somebody help! I'm lost!" -Signed Lancer. Y/N stifled a giggle. Looks like the blue villain had managed to get lost unlike them. Continuing onward, they arrived to a red box. Inspecting it curiously, Kris opened the box, and pulled out a pretty, white, silked ribbon.

"That ribbon is armor Kris! It increases defense," told Ralsei. "Why don't you try wearing it?" Suggested Ralsei. "I think it'll look good on you!" "Y-Yea, I'm sure you'll look mighty alright with it, and you'll be more protected," Y/N supported Ralsei's compliment. Kris turned around, white ribbon on their(♡) hands still. They(♡) started approaching Y/N, and placed the white ribbon over her.

Y/N could feel her face heat up slightly, as she felt Kris's gaze on her as they(♡) placed the white ribbon gently over her. They(♡) backed away, their(♡) stare not leaving hers. "Wow Y/N! You look pretty with it!" Ralsei blinked in satisfaction. Kris, nodded. They(♡) seemed...flustered? That was new. Y/N couldn't help but feel flustered herself. 'Why had Kris given me the ribbon..?'

Kris POV:

Kris couldn't help but try their best to hide their face wihtin their pink and purple scarf. Why did they(♡) feel this way? Trying to block out these unknown feelings, they(♡) led the group the other way. But the image of Y/N with that pretty ribbon fit her so well, couldn't leave their(♡) mind..

The trio met with another pink monster, except this one wasn't squashed this time. "W-Woah! Wait a minute! Even if you're my enemy, I've got to warn you!" Kris bored their eyes, that was underneath their bangs, with interest. Y/N and Ralsei seemed to have gain interest on what information this enemy might give. "A purple beast is roaming, clobbering anyone who dares block her way..!" Kris already knew who they were talking about. "Susie!" Ralsei and Y/N said simultaneously, echoing Kris's thoughts. Tears streamed through the pink monster's eyes as they sobbed. "We don't even like fighting, th-the King left us no choice." "Wait who's the King..?" Y/N asked. "The King is the ruler of this world, and they are the one who guards the fountain," Ralsei explained. Y/N nodded in understanding. Ralsei continued, "But other than that, we must stop Susie...quick!"

After thanking the pink monster thanks and wishing luck they decided to go one last direction, which was downward. Heading left, they saw another sign. "Oh it's just this way." -Signed Lancer. " At least we now know this is the right way." Said Y/N. And up ahead was Lancer himself. When they arrived, he spotted them. "Ho, Ho, Ho! Somehow you survived the maze!" "I mean it was wasn't as hard than I thought it was," Y/N told him. Though it only seem to annoy Lancer slightly, and it seemed to quiet Y/N. "But don't count your blessings before they hatch! Let's see how you fare against THIS team!" Lancer chuckled mischievously. 3 green heart-shaped monsters suddenly charged towards them while Lancer left the battle area. Once again everyone went to their battle positions.
