IT HAD TAKEN a while for both Regulus and Davina to recover from what they had just recently gone through. She would've loved to say that it was easy but the whole experience had left her confused. Regulus had told her that she had murmured her name through the experience but she was confused to how she couldn't recall a single memory that appeared. There was no memory of anything from her past, just a blank space in her memory yet still recognition to the event.

Lucky for her it had past rather fast, or she had forced herself to get over it. Davina wasn't used to dwelling on topics that had affected her as she had never had the chance in the past. It was run forever and deal with it all when it was over. Now that she thought about it, she hadn't really given herself to grieve what had happened. She'd cried about it with Regulus yes, but she'd never had the chance to just sit there and acknowledge the fact that she's never going to see anyone from her time and that they wouldn't know her.

Shaking her head to rid herself of such thoughts, she settled further in the seat. Winging Regulus into the plan was easy due to his relationship with her father and her. Severus on the other hand was a harder problem to deal with. The man hated her father with passion and she made no move to change his mind when she attended Hogwarts. She should've realised by now that her fathers had all let her down at some point in her life and realising later on that her father was a mindless bully at a young age had shattered her.

Sure the potions master had hated her throughout her time in Hogwarts, yet she had made no move to change his feelings. There was a slight confusion in the first year but then she just realised it was easier to be the demon Snape thought her to be than to be innocent. Sure she had seen reason to his actions, but to bully a child so young for a problem that he had with her father was pathetic.

"Ready?" Davina asked Morton. She only received a shaky nod in response but that was good enough for her. She entered the secluded part of the bar that Aberforth had left for her to use and was greeted by a sight.

Regulus and Severus were snogging.

Nah, just playing. The two friends were actually bickering with each other and it appeared that Severus had the upper hand. What about, she didn't know and didn't care. Her nerves were pulsing throughout her body and she tried her best to reign them.

"Gentlemen" she greeted with a nod. Regulus looked up at her before getting out of his seat and pulled her into a hug. Davina melted into the hug and burrowed herself in it, seeking comfort.

Severus analysed the duo. At first he had assumed they were a couple but then he realised that the friendship was more platonic than any that he had seen before. Although it warmed him to see his friend comfortable with someone other than him, he was nerved at how quick the friendship had formed. There was no previous talking between the two and yet they acted as if they had known each other for months, years even.

"Severus" Davina greeted. The boy in question nodded to her before returning his gaze back to the table. Davina smiled at the timid boy, settling in the sit across and gesturing to the frozen Morton to take the seat next to her, Regulus sitting next Severus.

"There's a reason I called this meeting" Davina started, her voice powerful and authoritative. She knew instantly that she had the attention of both boys and Morton who was sitting next to her. "Severus, I'd like you to meet Morton"

"Hi Severus" Morton said softly. Severus blushed before looking away and mumbling a small hello.

"Sevy we have news for you" Regulus encouraged. Severus couldn't help but feel nervous. There was a slight reassurance because Regulus was there but there were two unknown people to him and it peaked at his nerves. When you lived with the marauders constantly breathing down your back it called for necessary measures like being unnecessarily cold to people he didn't know and fearing the very life of him.

"This is your uncle Morton" Davina stated, interrupting his train of thoughts. The silence that enveloped them was tense. Severus mouth was ajar, Morton looked at the boy hopefully, Regulus was glancing between the pair and Davina was trying her best not to laugh. Sure it was insensitive of her, but this whole thing was bloody ridiculous and she couldn't help but laugh, already comparing this sweet boy with the older version of himself.

"W-what?" Severus stuttered out.

"Your mother" Morton said, a slight croak in his voice. "I didn't realise that she had had a child, or one as bright as you so I've heard. Potions prodigy?"

Severus blushed red before mumbling something about not being that good and only doing what he needed to complete the year. Regulus was quick to disagree and told Morton about all of Severus's accomplishments. Davina watched the easy going conversation descending between Severus and his uncle. She gestured at Regulus with a shake of her head, to leave the duo to talk themselves.

"Well...?"

"It went a lot better than what I imagined" Davina hummed. "Severus is very different from what he was like in the future."

Regulus looked slightly confused at the statement but was reassured that the man had always been cold with her due to her fathers mistakes. He couldn't blame his friend for his actions. The marauders had an unnecessary problem with him due to his friendship with Lily Evans. They continued to think in silence before Severus and Morton approached them, both with happy faces.

"Thank you" Severus said gratefully at Davina who only smiled at the boy. "I owe you one"

"Oh please there's no need" Davina stated.

"No" Severus said stubbornly. "I owe you. Whenever you need something please ask"

"Well..." Davina smirked slightly, "If you insist."

Regulus could only smile at the smirking girl. It was obvious that she had faked the whole thing and knowing Severus, who was in fact the most stubborn man he had ever met, would disagree whole heartedly and repay the debt.

Soon enough Davina was left by herself in the warmth of her room. Her plan was finally heading somewhere. She walked towards her trunk and took out the small compartment that was filled with the essence of a bad man. She glared hatefully at the objects that lay in there before hissing to them in a language she had never been able to speak before.

"It'll always be you and me Tom. Always"
