SANDRO'S POV
I came to the hotel right on time. It's past five and i gave my car keys to the valet and headed to the main door looking for the front desk.
My eyes found it easily so i walk there and spoke to the lady and ask for my room card.
The lady was shocked when she found out who i am and i just smile a bit. I'm not in the mood right now because i drove more than 5hours to come here but I don't want her to feel I'm a snob even though I'm totally not in the mood . I'm tired and wanted to take a shower before going to the dinner.
The lady told me my room number and called someone to assist me. A room boy came and took all my belongings.
"Thank you!" I said and went straight to the elevator and pressed the floor number where my room is.
"Ting, i open my eyes when i reached the floor, I'm only carrying a laptop bag because the room boy has all of my other things.
I looked at the room numbers that I'm passing by and found mine. I immediately open it with the card and went inside. The room boy who is following me brought all my bags inside.
Before he went outside i gave him a small tip and immediately locked the door. .
Ahh! Kapagod. I looked at my watch
5:40 i still have time to take a nap.
Nagising ako ng magring ang cellphone ko.
It's Matt
Matt: "Where are you?"
Sandro: in my room. I'll be there in a minute.
Agad na pinatay na niya ito at dumiretso sa banyo. Naligo na sya at inilabas na ang dalang black suit. Naglagay lang ng kauting hair wax nagpabango sinuot ang relong hinubad lng kanina bago maligo at sinuot narin ang top sider shoes.
8pm ng makalabas ng kwarto dala na rin niya ang regalo at tumungo na sa elevator.
Magarbo ang birthday surprise ng pinsan sa kanyang girlfriend. This is very special dahil maya maya ay magpo propose na ito sa babae. Agad dumiretso si Sandro sa celebrant na kasalukuyang kasama ng kanyang pinsan.
"Happy Birthday Jamie" sabay beso sa pisngi nito.
"Here's my simple gift."
"Oh thanks Sands!" Go eat! There's a lot of food " sagot naman nito.
Nag fist bump naman ang magpinsan
"I'm glad you came! Kain ka muna bro later we'll drink" sabi ng pinsan
"Ok sagot ni Sandro at dumiretso na sa buffet kung saan naroroon ang samu't saring putahe na inihanda para sa mga bisita. May mangilan ngilan din kumakausap pa kay Sandro kasama pa ang iba niyang pinsan na at kamag anak.
Kaunti lang ang kinain niya at nagsimula na rin syang kumuha ng wine sa nagdaang waitress
At ininom iyon habang kausap padin ang mga pinsan.
Hindi niya maalis sa isip ang ganoong tagpo nuon. Ngunit hindi nga lang iisa ang waitress na nagserve sa kanya ng wine ngayon at noon.
Maya maya lang ay nagsalita na ang pinsan sa stage.
"Ehem excuse me guys, I'm sorry to bother all of you, I just want to take this moment to greet my love Jamie"
Hiyawan at palakpakan naman ang mga bisita.
"Jamie love, happy Birthday! I'm so happy that I'm one of person you chose to celebrate your birthday with. And i hope that I'm the only man who will be beside you on your future birthdays."
Biglang lumapit ang pinsan niya sa kinaroroon ng nobya nito at biglang lumuhod
"I love you Jamie, so will take this opportunity to ask you if you want to spend the rest of your birthdays with me.
"Jamie love, Will you marry me? "
nagpalakpakanat naghiyawan uli ang mga tao at mas malakas ito ngayon kaysa kanina.
