OLIVIA

["We are more focused on improving our current services. But make no mistake, Harrison is far from falling behind in this industry."]

And that was everything Cesar Harrison, my ex-father-in-law, had to say before leaving the scene and entering his limo. I was trying so hard not to laugh because the room was dead quiet, focused on the news we were watching.

I glanced at Judah who sat on the edge of the table, holding the remote to his lips, looking pleased. He had the whole Kingston executive committee behind him, almost wearing the same expression as they watched the Harrisons' recent interview this morning. But of course, it was Judah who had the biggest smirk and the brightest shine in his eyes. I think what made him happier was the display of Kingston's market ratings on the side of the screen, and the headline flashing the words, "Kingston: The New Face of NY Hotels".

["In these past few months, Kingston has seemingly conquered the hotel industry, being the first choice of locals, tourists and even government VIP's."] The field anchor reported, standing in front of one of our hotels. ["And they are also making headlines with their other sub-businesses. Last week, in collaboration with Governor Hansen, Kingston has opened its very first community center. The park-themed establishment has instantly become landmark! As you can see from the tons of people here."]

The news showed a few shots of our new community center.

An employee assigned to handle community center went on the camera next, ["Many organizations and groups have already been reserving spots and rooms for their activities. The best thing about it is you only need to pay 2 dollars per person! Although, there is a clean-as-you-go policy."]

I raised my head, a surged of pride coursing through my veins. It was my first goodwife project, although it was an idea long buried by Judah's dad, Mr. Alistair. Judah allowed me to handle the community center operations four months ago, only a few weeks after I started working as his secretary.

I can't believe it's already been four months. Maybe it's because of my years of business experience with the Harrisons, but it really felt like I've been here in Kingston forever. Everything just came naturally to me. I managed to prove myself to the staff in just a few days.

Hmmm. Maybe I could thank Cesar Harrison for training me at least. But his bastard son should go to hell.

["My wife always wanted to be part of a community project back in her hometown."] It was Judah being interviewed, ["And I promised her I would give her everything she wanted. I was expecting something flashier, but..."]

Judah sighed and gave the reporter the warmest smile ever. His acting skills really improved, not that it needed improving in the first place.

["What she wanted was a noble cause. And hey... Happy wife, happy life, right?"]

All the people in the room with us laughed at Judah's remark.

The interviewer cooed, ["Awww. You must be very proud of her, Mr. Kingston. And by the way, Mrs. Kingston really knows how to kill two birds with one stone. I heard that you can use the community center's facilities for only two dollars. But the amazing part is all the proceeds will be donated to local hospitals and orphanages. You get a great place for only a few bucks and you're also helping the community!]

Judah replied with a chuckle, ["Yeah. I married an angel. She's changed me and my company. Now, Kingston will establish a new brand. One that will help people. And it's all thanks to her. As her husband and the president of my company, I will support her endeavors in any way I can. Always."] He looked at the camera and winked, ["I'll see you soon, my love."]
