Little summary to help you understand where we are because I forgot you can't read my mind. So, Shigaraki escaped the lab and is now searching for Midoriya. Midoriya and Bakugou left their positions, so they are separated from the group. This takes place in chapter 275 of the manga.

"GRAN TORINO!" Midoriya exclaimed in shock. The short pro-hero grabbed Midoriya and Bakugou by their arms and flew through the air at a high speed. The wind rushed past them as they were dragged away from the fighting field.
The two students were waiting directly where Shigaraki was heading. Without any other choice, Gran Torino forcibly removed them from the location.
"As soon as I heard 'one for all' I had a bad feeling... you were going to fight THAT THING?!" He gritted out from anger. His voice turned into a low warning tone, "SHIGARAKI'S 'DECAY' DESTROYS ANYTHING IT TOUCHES! EVEN IF YOU SO MUCH AS BRUSH UP AGAINST THE FALLING DEBRIS YOU'LL DIE!" He shouted as he dragged them away from the sight. It was obvious the students didn't know what they were getting into. "AS YOU ARE NOW. HE'S NOT AN OPPONENT YOU CAN EVEN HOPE TO BEAT!" Even through his harsh words, they could hear the concern sewn into his voice.
"BUT!" Midoriya tried to argue. But it proved meaningless.
"THERE ARE HEROES STILL STANDING! SHIGARAKI CANNOT BEAT EVERYONE!" Gran Torino yelled as he threw the two students into an empty pile of rubble, where a building once stood. Their sights directed to where they once were, right where Shigaraki now was.
