I danced around in my new house while calling my new friends kahlani and imani . I met them on instagram and since we found out we were going to be at the same school next year, we got close over the summer. They didn't answer so I went in my room to check and see if the men where done putting up my bed. They where almost finished. I went back in the living room and turned on my music.

"Cut that music down." I heard my mama yell.
"Yes ma'am." I said as I walked over to my speaker to cut it down. ..................
By the time I got tired of dancing and singing the men where already gone. So I went in my room and began packing. I was going back to Memphis the next day to go get the rest of my stuff so I had to hurry. I had just moved to Atlanta because my mom was tired of living in Memphis with all the crime that was going on.
My family and friends where still there though.
................... After I finished packing I went and grabbed me a water bottle and layed down. I started scrolling on instagram.

"SERENITY." I heard my mom scream.
I got off instagram and walked into her room.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Is everything packed?" She asked.
" Yes ma'am I only packed a small bag since we gone only be there for two days." I said.
"Alright make sure you up and ready in the morning. Good night." She said.
