Kasumi's Past (Final): Escape

"Kasumi, can you use Size Manipulation to shrink yourself down, so you can fit between my breasts, so I can fight properly with my wings". Feronia said with her guard up, while looking at Kasumi.

Since Feronia was a harpy, she would fight more efficiently in the air compared to when she fought on the ground.

"Sure". Kasumi said, while following what Feronia told her to do.

Feronia began to blush, but soon brushed it off, since she knew Kasumi still had her innocence. She then cleared her mind of all her previous thoughts and began focusing back onto the battle.

The cat lamia appeared from the shadows and aimed her dagger at the spot just below Feronia's ribs and powerfully thrusted forward.

*Swish!!

She ducked and pivoted her foot to the left, while flapping her wings and lifting off into the air, but that wasn't all. She also cast storm magic, sending ice shards towards the cat lamia.

The cat lamia tried to enter the shadows, but to no avail, since she would be hit before she could enter the shadow world, so she went for a different approach by holding her two daggers in a defensive stance.

*Clangg!!

She was launched backwards, while coughing up blood from an ice shard piercing her abdomen, but she was able to block the remaining ice shards by slashing them at high speed with her two daggers.

*Swish!!

She ducked and pivoted her foot to the left, while flapping her wings and lifting off into the air, but that wasn't all. She also cast storm magic, sending ice shards towards the cat lamia.

Feronia then disappeared from her spot, and reappeared, with 4 magic circles aimed at the cat lamia and shot them consecutively at her.

The cat lamia imbued her two daggers with shadow magic and slashed them at the incoming barrage of attacks, but failed to notice two magic circles activating underneath her.

*Crrrrr!!

Ice started to build up around the cat lamia's tail, trapping her in place.

*Bzzzt!!

Lightning came out of the second magic circle that was underneath the cat lamia frying her until she was just a life-less corpse held up only by the ice, keeping her trapped in place.

"Seems like I joined in at the right time". A woman said from behind the encirclement of lamia.

Everyone looked towards her direction to see a pure kitsune without any lamia characteristics. She had white hair which was stained with red blood and a kimono which was in a similar situation. She had multiple wounds with the biggest one being on her abdomen seeming to be from being stabbed, which weakened her and making it so she was unable to completely kill the Lamias, leading to her having to knock them unconscious with deep and shallow cuts appearing where she struck them with her two katanas.

"Mother" Kasumi said with a worried expression after seeing her injuries.

"We'll talk after we clear a path through these seductive worms". Kiyomi said with a smile, while trying to hide her pained expression.

All the lamia were shocked by the fact that Kiyomi was there, since she should have  been on the battlefield with Astrid's being turned into a vampire by the royal vampire named Aurelia.

" You're surprised I'm here". Kiyomi said with an annoyed expression.

Soon the lamias came out of their dazed expression and began attacking Feronia and Kiyomi with more fierceness.

One by one, the lamias were either knocked out or eliminated, leaving nothing left to fight back against us.

"Feronia, why is Kasu in between your breasts and in a shrunken form?" Kiyomi said while flaring her aura.

"I-I couldn't fight properly with her being on my shoulders, so I asked her to shrink herself down to fit between my breasts so I could fight properly and keep her safer". Feronia said, with cold sweat dripping down her back.

"Are you trying to get her to lose her innocence at such a young age?" Kiyomi asked Feronia with a serious expression.

"Mother, she was just trying to protect me". Kasumi said with a reasoning expression.

"Fine, I'll let it go this time, since Kasu said so, but next time you won't be let go so easily". Kiyomi said with a grin.

Kasumi then got out from between Feronia's breasts and returned to normal size, then hugged kiyomi with a happy expression.

"We should probably leave so we don't run into anymore lamias or vampires". Feronia said with a relieved expression.

"Yeah we should". Kiyomi said while looking at the dead and unconscious vermin lying across the battlefield.

Feronia began casting space magic, but this time it was a long ranged teleportation spell instead of the normal short ranged teleportation spell that was used previously, but there was one significant difference between the two, other than them being short and long range, which is that the long ranged teleportation spell takes a longer time to cast compared to the short-ranged teleportation spell that can be casted in a near instant.

Soon the teleportation spell was ready, so the three of them stood in the circle, which began to get bright and bright by the second, but was soon cancelled by a silver and black figure who forcefully cancelled the spell by kicking Kiyomi in the stomach, which sent her flying into a nearby tree.

*Bang!!Crack!

The impact broke multiple bones, causing a sheer amount of pain and internal injuries, but that wasn't all. The black aura which she sealed previously became unsealed from the impact, causing further damage to her body.

"You nearly escaped, but that wasn't enough. I'm also surprised you were able to seal the black aura, but that doesn't matter anymore with it unsealed once again". Aurelia with a sinister grin, while walking up to Kiyomi who was stuck to the tree still.

As soon as she reached her, she used wind magic to bring kiyomi to her. With Kiyomi now in Aurelia's embrace, she once again moved her fangs closer to her neck before digging them in, giving no chance for her to escape again.

"NOO". Kasumi screamed, while Feronia held her back from getting herself into danger, while knowing there was a high chance Kasumi would hate her.

Kasumi kept trying to run toward her mother, while seeing her slowly transform before the scene changed from the forest into an inn room  thousands of kilometers away.

Kasumi knelt down on the ground, with tears dripping down her face, leaving a puddle on the wooden floor in the inn they were now located in.

(Back to the present)

Kasumi hugged her legs and said "Only if I was stronger". Kasumi muttered with tears beginning to appear in her eyes.

A tear fell down Kasumi's cheek, and then came another and another. She soon fell asleep while crying from remembering the memories of her past.
