The next morning came in a jiffy, as if even the sun couldn't wait to rise. Along with the Stays, even that burning star wanted answers.
And it got hectic for Chan as he received calls from JYP and their managers. As the leader of the team of eight, all the responsibility of everyone's actions fell on him. He wasn't complaining, though — except for the fact that he had to put a halt to his music production and focus on calls.
"Yes, yes, sir," he nodded as he spoke on phone, the others just sitting around him and anxiously waiting for him to tell them what decision had been taken about making Jisung's relationship public. Thankfully, no one told Park Jinyoung about Yiren, and they all wanted to keep it that way.
Chan hung up, and as everyone closed up around him to listen to him, his phone buzzed again.
"It's Aisha," he mumbled, picking up the call, "Hello?... Hi, baby... Now? I'm in the middle of something important right now... Okay, I'll be there."
He hung up again, telling the others, "Aisha sounded troubled, so I have to go to her place now, but I'll summarize what JYP told me; the managers have decided to make it public, but they'll give it a day or two to confirm the news. Apparently, we're viral, and he wants to keep it that way."
Seungmin groaned, "How long are Stays going to suffer for? We're just being cruel at this point."
"You know him, Seungmin," Chan spoke, standing up and fixing his shirt, "I'll get going now. If something comes up, just call me."
With that, he grabbed his jacket and left. As soon as he was gone, the other stray kids debated over the decision.
"This is like an ongoing k-drama for the Stays, except it's left on a cliffhanger," Hyunjin remarked.
"And that's just downright cruel," Seungmin stated.
"I wonder what's happening online right now..." Jeongin wondered, and then sourly spat, "Oh, yeah, we're not allowed to check SNS as of now. This company sucks."
As they all bashed the company together, Minho got reminded of Yiren (obviously, simp). He didn't waste a second before fishing out his phone from his pocket.
Me:
So chan talked to jyp
Yirenie:
Blimey!
Where is the capitalisation, young lad?
Me:
You're not British
Yirenie:
But I can copy that accent well yk yk yk

Me:

As Minho was about to type more, Chan walked into the living room, looking dazed and anxious, as if he had just witnessed something huge that had left him speechless.
"You're back already?" Changbin questioned, "How's Aisha? What happened there?"
"Guys..." Chan stared at them, eyes wide,
"Aisha is pregnant."
