Yiren was overjoyed, to say the least.

The application, that she had sent to another company to leave JYP Entertainment and join theirs to train, had been approved. Although it wasn't a huge company with famous groups and award-winning discographies, it was still a budding company, and Yiren simply wanted to leave JYP Ent. as soon as possible.

Squealing as she received the acceptance letter online, she called up Minho. It rang for a few seconds before the call connected, "Hello, Yirenie?"

"MINHO!"

"I'm here?"

"MINHO, MINHO, MINHO!"

"I still remember my name, Wifey."

"I got accepted!"

"Where- what?!" he sounded taken aback.

"Infinite Entertainment accepted me!" she giggled loudly on the phone.

She could hear the cats meowing when he spoke up, "Congrats! Gosh, I told you that you'd get accepted!"

"Thank you! Thank you!" Yiren squealed on the phone, "I cannot believe this, ahhh!"

"You have the talent, Yiren. And you've worked so hard. I knew you'd get accepted!" Minho couldn't stop smiling either, "Such dedication never goes to waste."

She almost had tears in her eyes at that moment; it felt like Minho's comforting words triggered all the memories of frustration and sorrow and jealousy she had gotten when she saw all her friends move on and debut with their groups, and live the life that she had only ever dreamt of living. She had come here all the way from her home country, and she just couldn't let her dreams and efforts go to waste due to some setbacks, be it as major as ever. She couldn't stop; she had never stopped.

"Yirenie? You're crying," she heard Minho say from the other end, concerned, and that was when she realized that she had begun sobbing; she heard him continue, "I'm sorry if I said something wrong."

"No, no," she sniffled, "It's just that... it's been so long since I've been here. I haven't met my family in years, and I hadn't gotten anywhere with my career. All I had been doing was working harder and harder each day, in hopes that one day, I would debut. I would make a name. I would make my family proud. That day never seemed to come, but now... it feels closer. I feel like I'll do something with my life now."

"Hey, hey," Minho soothingly spoke, "You have worked so hard all this time, and I really admire you for all your efforts. You're so close to achieving your dreams, and I want you to know that I love you, and I'm so proud of you. And so are your parents. They are proud of how far you've come, I'm certain."

"Thank you, Minho," she inhaled and exhaled, putting a halt to her tears and sobs with the intake of fresh air, "And those words sound nice coming out of your mouth, hehehe."

"Of course," he scoffed playfully, and she laughed.

That was when she heard a loud yell from the other end, and a scream -- which probably belonged to Hyunjin, she believed. There were a few gasps, and a faint voice of Chan could be heard from the other line.

"Hey, are you guys okay?" Yiren asked, concerned.

Minho didn't reply for five seconds, and that worried her... until he spoke, "Chan and Aisha had gone for a checkup, and guess what?"

"What?"

"They are having twins!"

"Twi... OH, MY GOD!" Yiren squealed loudly yet again.

"I know it's something to be happy about, but please spare my eardrums."

"I AM SORRY BUT AHHHHHH!"

"Ouch!"
