One month later

Xerxes POV

The door slammed open and I wasn't surprised when Jaxon walked in all care free.I couldn't care less though.

All I could think of at the moment was Andrea. After seeing her in the orphanage a month ago,she was all that invaded my mind. I'd sneak into her office every night and just hold her. This was all possible thanks to her ability of passing out like a log. I mean,I could shift and roar as loud as I could but she would still be asleep. How do I know this? Well that's easy because I literally tried that a night ago

I am one of the most feared Alphas in the region but she's made me lower my pride in order to see her.

Fuck I sound like a teenage pup.

"Earth to Xerxes"

"It's Alpha Xerxes to you"

,"I am the happiest man alive" Jaxon said while dropping onto the leather couch.

"Let me guess,your Grinch of an aunt died"

"Always pessimistic"

"I do try"

"Well no,but something good finally happened to me"

"What?"

"She finally said yes"

"Who?"

"It's a surprise"

"I hate surprises,you should know that!"

"But I owe it all to you . I myself still can't believe that you actually played a role to it"

"What do you mean?"

"If it wasn't for your coldness she would have never warmed up to me,so thank you so much"

"Who is this female you speak of"

'Its a surprise"

"Is she part of this pack?"

"Not yet but after I mark her she will"

"When can I meet her?"

"Today"

"Alright then,I guess I'm done with paperwork for today,so let's go "

"No,it's heading to four, she's probably busy"

"No,I want to meet her now,unless she isn't real"

"Of course she's real. Lets go then"

In all honesty,I thought that Jaxon was lying. I didn't need my Beta being lovesick about some she wolf. As Jackson drove ,I noticed something. The route we took was very familiar.

When we stopped at the orphanage I got curious. The only person I knew was Andrea ,what if ...

Jackson had a stupid grin that I badly wanted to wipe off his face. The girl wasn't his mate but he seemed to be in love .He was a lucky bastard while I on the other hand... I mean I literally have my mate meters away but I'm such a coward

I watched as Jackson took out a box of chocolate from the backseat which I hadn't noticed and immediately walked to the entrance.

I noticed a lot of buses within the compound ,the kids must be coming back .

I followed Jackson closely behind and the smile formed on my lips .At least I had an excuse to see her

"Mate!"

Knight was right. She was standing at the front of the building welcoming the kids back .

The way she handled them arose something within me. I suddenly pictured her caring for our children

She truly was going to be a perfect luna. My feisty beautiful human Luna

I gave Jackson one last glance but instantly looked again and clenched my fists. He was walking towards her

I watched as her face lit up when she saw him. Wait a minute ,was Andrea?

Jackson whispered something to her that made her turn as red as her hair. He gave her the box of chocolate and what happened next made me nearly snap the tree beside me into half.

He kissed her! Jackson kissed her and she kissed him back.

My restraints finally broke and all I saw was red. Nobody touches what's mine .I don't share what's mine .She is mine and mine alone and not even the moon goddess will be able to stop me now .
