Soooo hey guys. I for one just want to apologize for the lack of updates, let me tell y'all, my life right now has been like a very effed up movie slash book.

Buuuuuuut since y'all are amazing and y'all leave really nice comments and vote, I got motivated again.

"Don't forget whose pack you're in Andrea. I may have fired you from the orphanage but that doesn't mean that you can roam around freely and do as you please in this pack

You shall be assigned new responsibilities by the end of the week and I expect you to carry them out otherwise you will have to face the consequences "

One thing that I have come to realize in life is that there comes moments when one just needs to turn the other cheek and shut their damn trap .

Let's just say that I learnt that a little bit too late.

To be honest, I blame myself, for letting my anger and ego get the best of me.

I should have stayed quiet, heck I could have just glared at both those wolves and cursed their tails or thrown a rock at their car or something

But nooo, I just had to retort and spill the beans.

Xerxes looked at me in both shock and anger. Larissa on the other hand just growled at me

"What did you just say!"

It was Xerxes.

If I said that I was just joking, I doubted if they would believe me and judging from the way both of them reacted, I was sure that they would do something to stop me

It was as if they didn't want me to leave this place.

I needed to play this off cool. I had to be smart about it all

"You heard what I said. I am going to leave this place. In fact I am sure that you both can't wait for me to leave"

"Watch your tone Andrea or else.."

"Or else what Alpha Xerxes? You'll chain me up? Lock me up in a dungeon? Feed me to the rogues?"

"You are not leaving this pack . You are never leaving this pack so get this right through your thick skull"

"You do not have a say on what I can and what I cannot do!"

"I am Alpha and what I say is law!"

"Well newsflash , you may be alpha but you will never ever become my Alpha!"

"Andrea if you let one more disrespectful thing come out of that little mouth of yours I will show you why only respect and reverence is to be showed to an alpha!"

"As if you could ever lay a single hand on me"

"Xerxes, why don't we just let the little tramp leave. She is nothing but a nuisance and a liability. If she wants to leave , let her leave, there is no point on letting her stay and run around the pack "

"Shut up Larissa!"

Okay. Plot twist

"But Xerxes I just.."

"Who gave you permission to speak? Go back to the pack house immediately "

Damn

Larissa looked at him in shock. She looked like she was in denial

Maybe she didn't expect Xerxes to embarrass her that way.

"Xerxes I am you Luna and I should be by your side right now"

"Nobody asked you to be here so leave!"

"But Xerxes I.."

"I said leave us!. Don't make me repeat myself twice "

After giving me a cold glare she eventually left leaving Xerxes and I alone.

I wondered how we got to this stage in our life

Everything felt so surreal

I felt as if it were yesterday when he kissed in the parking lot and confessed to me that he loved me.

Was this really the same man

Maybe he had an identity disorder or something

Because the man that marked another she wolf a day later wasn't the same man that told me that he loved me.

I laughed within though. Because I was a fool to believe and think that I would find love again that easy most especially coming from a male wolf in power

Hadn't I learnt my lesson .

Gosh I'm such a fool at times.

My eyes then darted to Xerxes.

I noticed that he balled up his fists and clenched his jaws while shutting his eyes. It was as if he was trying to control himself or something

And now to finally hit the nail because I wanted to be over and done with this conversation

Of course I had to be a little bit dramatic so as to not be implicated by my earlier words.

I sighed and mustered up all the fake tears I've been practicing to produce.

Three, two ,one..

Let the play begin

I sighed and lowered my eyes to the ground whilst slowing down my breath .

I then let the sad memories that I had stored up in the back of my mind to just surface

My shift of emotions seemed to have been noticed by the him.

And then cue in the tears

"I am tired okay. I am tired of all of this in fact I don't even belong here and you know it Xerxes, so please just let me leave.

I know that I am only a burden and a liability to the pack . Nobody wants me here, not even the children.

Everything that I thought I had was nothing but an illusion Xerxes. I have list everything. I have lost everything that kept me together and I just can't take it anymore.

I can't bear this pain that comes from within me Xerxes I just can't. I am only human okay . I am human but that's just one thing you seem to forget. You forget that I can break and that despite trying to be strong , I tend to be weak

So please I'm begging you, let me leave. I won't cause any problems and everyone can just go on with their lives "

His expression softened and he unclenched his jaw ..
