Dancing With A Stranger

Part 7

Kira sat up, two knocks on her door catching her attention. Sighing, the girl sat her sketchbook to the side on her bed and went to open the door. Standing there was a smiley Jake holding a bag of popcorn.

"Hi Kira!" Jake greeted, "Me and the guys were thinking that since we've been working so hard today maybe we could have a movie night." Kira nodded along as the boy was talking, letting him know that she was listening. However, once he had finished she didn't say anything. Jake assumed the girl was thinking so he just watched as she stared at him in silence.

Kira slightly tapped her finger on the door, looking away from the cute male. "Yea... I guess that could be cool." Jake's energy immediately changed, a big smile forming on his face. Kira let a small smile break through as she looked down at her feet.

"Ok, great! The others are already in the living room," Jake had started to walk backwards down the hall, "We'll be waiting!" Kira chuckled before closing the door.

The girl went to her bed to put all of her art supplies back on her desk. She then grabbed her biggest hoodie, throwing it on, welcoming in the warmth. The apartment was always unusually cold so she started walking around in big clothing.

"Wait, she actually agreed?" Kira heard Sunghoon's familiar voice as she walked into the room. Silently rolling her eyes the girl sat in the same chair as always. Kira had started getting used to the chair, not even thinking about sitting anywhere else anymore.

"Hey Kira." Jungwon greeted, shocking the others. They hadn't seen the small female walk in, too busy talking about her. The boys, excluding Niki, all greeted the girl with a few of them apologizing. Kira just nodded her head to the others and they all ended up in silence.

"So what are we watching?" Jay questioned, "I was thinking a Marvel movie." Niki immediately shouted Spiderman, hearing his partner say Marvel. The others laughed at the boy's childishness. Even Kira couldn't help but let out a small chuckle.

"Ok so Marvel, but we're not watching spiderman again!" Jungwon ordered, causing their maknae to pout. Sunoo hugged the younger man trying to make him feel a little better. Kira's face slightly scrunched up at the sight but not enough for anyone to notice.

"What about Civil War?" Sunoo inquired, "I mean Spiderman's in it." Kira nodded her head remembering one of her favorite Marvel movies. She didn't think anyone noticed until she saw Sunoo's finger pointed at her. "See, even Kira agrees!" Niki gently pushed the boy's finger down then went back to hugging his hyung.

"I guess if Kira agrees, we have to watch it." Sunghoon commented, already finding the movie. Kira looked at the men in confusion but couldn't get out any words. None of the boys acknowledged her confused state and just watched as the Disney plus logo popped on the screen. Kira sighed, something she has started to realize she does a lot, before slumping further in her chair to watch the movie.

The eight people watched in silence as Spiderman steals Captain America's shield. One of Kira's favorite parts in the movie but she was far too cold to enjoy it. Everytime she looked at the others they seemed completely fine so the girl sat in silence trying to keep herself warm. The last thing she wanted was to make seven other people uncomfortable for her own benefit.

Jungwon couldn't help but notice the girl next to him shaking and constantly rubbing her nose. He tried to ignore it for awhile but he just couldn't. She looked so cold, it concerned him. "Kira do you want to come over here?" he moved himself, so there was space between him and the arm of the couch, "I'm sure it's warmer."

"No, no. I'll be fine, thank you." Kira whispered before looking back at the tv. Jungwon huffed watching the brown girl rub her nose again. Jay shook his head before asking one more time. Kira gave the same response with her shaky voice causing Jungwon to roll his eyes.

The older man got up, grabbed Kira, and sat her on his leg. Kira froze in shock. It was the second time today one of these boys had picked her up out of nowhere and she didn't know what to do about it. The girl was snapped out of her daze when she felt two arms snake around her waist pulling her closer.

"You can let me go, I'll sit on the couch." Kira tried to reason with Jungwon but all she got in return was his arms tightening further around her waist. Kira huffed and just decided to get comfortable.

Soon enough the seven boys could hear heavy breathing coming from the small girl. Kira had fallen asleep, head resting on Jungwon's chest. Sunghoon silently shut off the tv as the others quietly left for their rooms. "You got her?" Sunghoon asked, stretching his back.

"Yeah, I'll just be a sec," Jungwon got up with the girl in his arms, "love you." Sughoon smiled at his partner after kissing his cheek.

"Love you too."
