In the Newtopia dockyard sat five people. Drake had decided he needed to lay low for a bit after his encounter with King Andrias. What better way to do that than by spending time with Anne and the Plantars?

Anne had her hands up to her face in awe. "Whoa. Look at this place. It's just like the outdoor mega mall from back home."

Hop Pop had a cup of hot coffee. "Sure. Anyway, since we only have a couple of days left in the city, I figured we could spend the afternoon shopping for souvenirs. Now get out there and buy anything you'd like!" Hop Pop reached into his pocket earning a cheer from the four kids. "For two coppers or less." he tossed four bags of money.

"What? This ain't even enough for a candy bar?" Polly complained.

"Yeah, what gives?" Anne agreed. "Let's just use that sweet bling-bling from the king-king."

"Oh yeah, the royal credit card." Sprig realized.

"Nuh-uh." Hop Pop disagreed. "Kids, souvenirs are only meaningful if you pay for them yourself."

"I still have some money from my travels. I can give each of you some." Drake offered.

"Yay!" Sprig cheered.

"Oh, you still have some?" Anne said.

"Show me the money!" Polly exclaimed.

"Hold it! Drake, that money rightfully belongs to you. You should spend it on whatever you want." Hop Pop said earning a groan from the other three children. "You could always try haggling."

"Hag what?" Polly had never heard that term before.

"You know, bargain with shopkeepers till they lower their prices." Hop Pop explained.

"You can do that? Oh, these newts aren't going to know what hit them." Polly hopped away.

"Wait, Polly! Don't actually hit anyone!" Hop Pop ran off to chase Polly.

"Ooh, exciting." Sprig said, holding his bag of two coppers. "I guess I better get an item for Ivy, since we are an item. Heh-heh" he joked. "Who are you gonna shop for?"

"My mom." Anne answered.

"Your mom?" Sprig was rather surprised at her answer.

"Yup. I figure if I'm gonna go missing in a different dimension, the least I could do is bring back a gift." Anne explained.

"Seems reasonable to me." Sprig said holding a staff that still had a two-copper price tag on it.

Anne looked at it up and down. "What? When did you? How did you?"

"Don't know. But isn't it perfect for Ivy?" Sprig held it up so Anne could get a better look at it, accidentally hitting her in the head. "So Drake, what are you gonna get?"

"I don't know yet. I haven't even started looking, though I'm probably not going to get anything. It might be better to save it for an emergency." Drake replied.

"Come on dude! This is Amphibia. A completely different dimension with strange stuff. You can't seriously be that cheap." Anne said.

"I said I would look around before buying something." Drake suddenly ducked. "Whoa! Sprig watch where you're swinging that thing!"

"It even whistles when you swing it." Sprig said happily swinging the staff he bought. "Watch this..." he smashed some nearby pots acting like a monk in a kung fu movie.

"My pots!" the shopkeeper yelled.

"Sorry, sorry! Bill the king! Bill the king!" Anne quickly rushed over and grabbed Sprig.
